Both. I feel that people are pissed at me, Rocky, and CPC8 in general, and I feel like there's a lot of loaded comments that people are making. Or at least accusations being thrown around by people. I feel like a lot of it goes back months ago, when I made my post against word games.

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I'm also not stupid. I think that there's enough going back and forth from all sides, with comments being made, whether or not directly or indirectly to see that things aren't all peachy.

I guess what it boils down to is I want everyone to get to the bottom of why they're mad at whomever, and to just be up front with it. If someones mad at me, I'd rather be told here and now, instead of dancing around the boards like a bunch of high school girls, making half veiled comments and snickering.

I know I am a little of topic here but then again I am not.

I know there are a few people upset still at me for the rash decisions I made the other day concerning the member elimination thread. I have done all I can to make amends for my actions.

I have made mention of this via a VM but I would like to add that I will be resigning as a host of the TFF member elimination at the end of this years elimination because of my actions I took. This to me is only fair.

The only way I am going to do it again next year is if the general populous wants me to host it again. If not then it is free reign for someone else to take control of it.

I tried to make the rules a little tighter then last year's elimination to prevent some of the occurrences that happened in 09 by completely over hauling the rules at the beginning of the elimination but if I am asked to host it again I will once again be revising the rules for the 2011 eliminations.

Meh this is coming across as a rant. Basically I know there is hostility towards me because of one bad day. After reading this (if those people actually want to read it) I have now done everything I can to make amends.

Pete, I just want to say that, while maybe you had a case for being annoyed, I think you overreacted over the whole member elimination thing, and that when I voted for you, I was thinking in my mind that you wouldn't care, because it was just a game. I'm not mad at you or anything, but I just think you were a bit over the top with your reaction. Just for the record.

Also, Unknown Entity, the way I recall last year's game, you were one of the last four left, and you only really started to get hacked at that point; up until that point, I think you might have even been the person with the most votes. So maybe you were the just the odd one out. Not trying to say "You suck!" or anything, but I don't think you had as much of a case for being angry as you think you do. Also, remember, just like last year: "turnabout is fair play" Anyhoo...

Well I'm not mad at anyone and I hope no one is mad at me either. Pete if there is anyone who is still mad at you about the Word Games thing then they obviously aren't a very nice person. I would hope that nobody would be enough of a jerk to stay mad about one thing for months! As for Meier, I'm sorry you had to make those choices and if people are so mad about that then their not very nice either. Meier, I hope the last VM or two I sent your way yesterday shows that I'm for working with you. I myself was pissed about that word games thing but two of the members mentioned had posted in that game prior to anything happening and the other, Flash, doesn't even really care about this drama. It annoys me when I see people being falsely accused.

And Pete, if you want things in the open, great. You've asked for it so I will deliver. There are those of us against CPC8 as a whole thanks to the actions committed by some of the key members. Seeing members pick on other members (even if in jest), hearing some of the crap you guys come out with off of TFF... Couple that with the exclusivity you guys are almost like a frat version of the BoD minus the death metal and RP references. And I'm really not sure that's the kind of group a mod should associate with neither which is part of what caused my friction with Meier.

There's a reason I personally NEVER try to become a mod/admin at busier/important forums. It's because I know I couldn't be as impartial as a good staff member could be. Even if one can remain impartial, things like that look bad.

I was never mad about the Elimination threads. Sure, I warned Pete that last time, but I wasn't mad when I did it((Not to mention, I apologized bout my mistake and everything). What ticked me off were the reactions from him after he got voted down. I voted him down because I figured everyone would be voting Pete up. It's all part of the game.

So as for being angry at you, Pete. No. I'm not angry at you. But since you want everyone to share their honest opinion in this thread, here's mine: If anybody has beef with me, they should confront me on MSN about it like a real man. Agreed. But some people have a bad day, and others have a bad week. Or month. Or they just change completely to act the ass for a while. Which is a general theme around here too, after something "big" happens.

The huge reaction that came about after this years during the Elimination Thread "incident" was completely uncalled for. Perhaps that's why people are mad at you, Pete? Or you think they still are because they blew at you for a day or whatever. From where I'm sitting, everyone is pretty much over that. Everyone who isn't over it aren't necessarily horrible people, they're just a bit taken aback about how things went about and/or were handled. Shit happens, but there's always two ways to go about it; quickly and quietly, or kicking and screaming.

Meier, please don't step down as the host. It's a good game, and it can be a lot of fun. If anything, it's really not your fault it messed up this year. I think a lot was going on at the time, certain members got out of hand, and it all clashed. Wrong place, wrong time kind of thing.

As for CPC8, I think Silver said it all. I think certain representatives of the group have "bad idea" written all over them, especially if it's respect you guys are going for.

I fail to see how getting eliminated from a word game (essentially) being a big deal. Although I do kinda sorta maybe get it? I'd be unimpressed too, but because I know that about myself I don't sign up for those things in the first place. Saves a lot of drama, IMHO.

I've seen people on here be angsty against each other. To me it just seems that its quite a bit easier to talk the talk when you can hide behind a computer screen. I really do think forum interactions would be different if we all had to deal with each other face to face.

I'm kinda surprised Pete even bothers with the drama, I just kinda laugh at how all the same people are in online drama's. I call it the Michael Vick paradigm (sp?). Is it you old faks starting it or is it people beefin with you cause of who you are. (which officially I think is the gayest shit ever...at least when I had beef it was for a reason and not because someone had flashing stars above their name)

I'm glad to see nothing really changes except the who and why in the drama situations.

For the record, coming back just for awards and those games is quite 'got, but participating in them after a certain amount of time here is just as 'got.

That reminds me of just like how big the universe is in comparison to our lives, and how no matter what, our life is no importance to anything and will have no impact on the universe and that our entire galaxy is just a small speck in the sand so to speak and that anything "important" that we do isn't important at all in the grand scheme of things, which makes even little trollings here and there less important because at the end of the day it ultimately has no bearing on anything.
