Not really. Just a nice title to a simple thread.

Everyone has their buttons that can be pushed that can instantly enrage ones self so I am curious as to what yours are. This topic is not just limited to the whole violent acts thing but also includes things like:

Agrrivation
Irritation
Annoyances

and other similar humanistic traits.

Call them triggers, buttons, pet peeves, or what not; I want to know what gets you going in that negative way. Can be real life or on the vast interpol that people refer to as the Internet.

Also feel free to have discussions with other members on how to over come these points of seemingly no return.

Some people say they're not really certain what sets me off. It could one thing one day, and then something entirely different the next. I'm not really consistent about it. The only thing that's really consistent is how violent I get. People tend to keep away from me because of this. I don't understand WHY. I'm an AWESOME guy! Sure, sometimes I will belligerently curse you out for no good reason and give you a black eye, but doesn't EVERYBODY?

My next one is one hit kills in this game I'm playing. Odin is nuts. You guys might not agree because you probably beat him, but holy shit son. I just bought FFXIII yesterday and I love the story. Just not the one hit kills.

My next one is when people lie like a ****ing rug. This deserves a swear word because I just can't ****ing stand it. Why does someone need to lie so ****ing much. It's irks me beyond belief.

I think I know what (who) you are talking about. I was frustrated myself with those comments. I managed to calm myself down, and dismiss it as ignorance on their part. That is the best way to deal with that, for me that is. I know it may seem difficult, but there will always be haters. It's best not to stoop to their level and react. That is what they want you to do.

For me, the thing that absolutely makes me angry is talking bad about my parents. I don't get angry about anything else. My parents may have made mistakes in their life (read my journal for more info), but they raised me completely different than their current actions. I just do not tolerate people bad-mouthing my parents when they aren't here to defend themselves. That's about it.

People who blatantly lie about stupid things because they are too embarrassed of themselves. Most of the time the other person knows you aren't telling the truth and it puts them in a bad spot or just makes you look stupid.

Customers that feel mistreated being a **** off the bat. Just because something wasn't perfect for you doesn't mean you have to yell at the person. At times it might be needed, but not many, if any of the workers purposely screwed up your order. When I use to work in stores, I use to tune people out if they started yelling at me about something out of my control. I'm sorry things didn't work out for you; maybe if you weren't a **** I might actually care and help you.

Mostly the first one though. I've worked with people. You don't need to act like the people from Jersey shore to survive. I've tested this, and I've proved it. To those who do, I will not socialize with you.

The trash thing is HUGE, especially at the airport. It doesn't make sense to me. You can't even raise your arm to put your stuff in the garbage.

I also don't like people who just can't take a hint.

I don't like it when a drink gets spilled. Especially if it's MY drink. I remember one time a long time ago, my friend was taking a drink of my soda and dropped it. I must've glared at him, because he got this really scared look on his face and was like, "I'm SO SORRY!" or something, haha.

I also don't dirty restrooms very much, either. Like someone smearing poop on the wall/pooping on the ground/pooping in a urinal/dropping their fuckin' TRASH in the urinal/trash in the SINK/pissing on the floor... etc. I don't get the mentality. Is this supposed to be funny? Are you doing it "for the lulz?" Because seriously, I want to punch you. If I ever found someone doing that, I might.

And yeah, I don't like working with the public either. You get some people who are really nice, but you also get an equal or greater amount of people who treat you like shit because you're working there. Anyhoo...

Usually, these photos are either taken in front of a mirror and/or at an angle with them doing a duck face. I have a friend who has an album created for this specifically. I get annoyed when people keep posting FB statuses about how awful their life is all the time. I just have this urge to tell them that, "No one gives a poo." I just ignore them instead. -_-;

I tend to get pretty protective over my loved ones. Someone says something offensive about them and/or hurts them, I'll lash out. It's happened many of times, especially in the last two years. I remember me and a guy in my class at college being physically pulled apart once... I don't even remember quite what he said, but at the time it was a touchy subject and he went way too far.

Crowds. When I'm out and about, and there's people everywhere, I want to punch everyone who even touches me. I was once winded by a woman's leather hand bag when in a busy queue in GAME, so now I walk through crowds trying to dodge people, and I wish everyone else would do the same. Last week, I was over at Oxford Street, and people literally don't care if they run you into the ground over there. ><

Controlling and manipulative people come close to getting a mind punch out of me. I don't understand what kick you can get out of using people, or making them think they've done wrong. I let myself be lead easily along by someone a few years ago, and when we stopped talking (on their terms), I spent weeks thinking I'd done something wrong because they left without a clear explanation so suddenly. They didn't even care, and sent me a text one day asking to talk about something I'd apparently said, again making me feel like I'd done something. I hate it.

I agree. People who shake their legs like that are completely retarded. It's one thing to have the occasional nervous tic, but when you create a mini earthquake around you because you can't stop, then that's serious anxiety problems. It's distracting and annoying. One way to fix those anxiety problems would be to take heroin.

Another thing that annoys me are people who take heroin. They get addicted to it and then steal all your shit and become a prostitute to get money to buy more heroin. I don't care so much about the prostitution aspect, or the drug addiction. It's the stealing thing that annoys me. I don't like my things being stolen and sold.

And I absolutely cannot stand enablers. If a junkie keeps getting kicked out of rehab because she's buying and selling heroin to other junkies, then have the asshole locked up in prison for a couple of years. There's an easy solution to keep her locked up. When she gets arrested, don't post bail. Essentially, people wasting their money on things that won't make a difference to anybody pisses me off.

I get miffed when people call me stupid, especially about things I'm not the best at. "Ok I know I suck at math, you don't need to tell me I'm retarded you fat ****!" is my usual thought, but on the outside I smile and nod my head. Better to hold stuff in.

I also get pissed when people aren't thankful, be it to me or anyone. If I/someone is working with you to accomplish stuff, you don't turn around and make fun of them. Or their parents. Fat bastard.

Leeches, or people who mooch off of hard working individuals without so much as lifting a finger to repay them is another good one.

I guess another of my pet peeves is...

While I am out delivering, people come up to me to get the paper. Then they talk about the most random things. That doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that they only want to chat with me when there is a foot of snow on the ground or when it is 100+ degrees outside. I think to myself, "Come on dude/lady, I have 550 more of these papers to deliver. I can't be talking to you about how your cat likes to eat snowballs that your kids make." On the outside I give my attentive, "I really care about what you are saying" look and say, "hmm" a lot.

I tend to spin out in the driveway of every person that talks to me after #10 finishes chatting with me.

Those that feel a need to impose their beliefs on others (often outspoken religious types or militant atheists), those who strive for emotional or physical harm in others for no reason other then their own satisfaction and those who simply enjoy a good fight, as I still do.

I find with the first two types, if I punch them in the face before I get riled up too much I can leave quite happily.
