What the heck ran through your head the first time you had a run in with a law enforcement officer because you violated a law in some way?

What did you do to have such a run in with Mr. Policeman (or woman)?

What were your parents reactions after said run in?

What was the worst thing you have done that required law enforcement agencies to get involved?

I really haven't had to many run ins with the law. For some reason I have a bad problem of moving and not changing my address with the DMV so I rarely get my renewal notifications for my tag renewals.

I went almost three months with my tag being out of date. Also come to find out as I was in a panic to find my insurance verification card, it was a day expired and it was a holiday weekend so the insurance agencies and tag agencies were closed for 2 days.

In Oklahoma you have 2 days to get your tag and provide proof of insurance, I found this out as the cop wrote me two tickets. I was freaking out because withe the holiday and it being the weekend there was no way to get to the court house either.

I was young and nieave; there is a grace day built in for such rare occurrences. I paid my fines and got the tag renewed.

I was mad at first but while sitting there in my car I realized that it was no one else's fault but my own. The police officer was just doing his job.
