I can't do it irl, but everytime I see a youtube comment that looks just dumb enough for everyone to thumbs it up, I thumbs down it immediately. I'm not sure if I'm making an impact or not, but I think the first few votes on a comment could make someone think twice about voting for what they were going to.

I hate those comments that are dumb and 5 people thumbs up it and people just keep doing it thinking they're part of the cool kids. What I do now, is if a comment is really good and has a few thumbs up, I just thumbs down everything around it.

I so badly wish this translated to real life.
