DONKEY
This is how Scousers Speak:
Scottish people talk like Shrek.
THE DIFFERENCE IS CLEAR.

Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's."

It's still less annoying than Cockney.
Until now!
The only similarity they both share is that they are both equally incomprehendable to the rest of the english speaking world. Imagine if the Beatles had pure scouse accents, then how big would they have been? Still neither is anywhere near as bad as the Cork accent in Ireland and the welsh accent.

Can I just point out to all of you racist buggers, that there's hundreds of different types of Scottish accents and you shouldn't base your presumptions on Shrek/Groundskeeper Willie/Billy Connolly.
I'm perfectly comprehensible
Though I do love the 'Welsh accent', well the stereotype anyway, it makes the country seem so gentle. The thing is that a lot of the men get mistaken for homosexuals because of that.
EDIT: Also, this seems like a really strange thread to have on an American forum. Even I'm not sure what a Scouser is, do you even think that when a foreign person sees the word 'Scouser' they think of the UK?

Ethnicity =/= Race
And I even doubt Liverpool counts as its own ethnic zone.

Everywhere has it's own accent in the UK. I'm from Cambridge, so I sound like I'm from Cambridge. If you are from Edinburgh you'll sound like you are from there. You can't generalize a country and compare it to a city...
I can't understand a word any scouser has ever said. they talk to fast for me and don't hold together the ends of their sentences. To me it sounds like 'Yeah, right so I was walking into the bar when tehkjsukn uhejs jhejbsgehjege, you know what a mean like?'. That isn't anything against people from Liverpool... I just can't understand them. Where I come from everybody talks like they are from the BBC. Or at least like they know how to use G's at the ends of words.
As for Irish, which Smurphy mentioned, I agree with the Cork accent. It can be a little harsh. Some other Irish accents are DIVINE. I would marry Colin Farrell based solely on his voice.
Also, I agree. How did this spring up on a site that is primarily US? Oh, well. It was fun to discuss. XD
