(TFF Family):
Wow. 1957 sounded like a great time to live in. You made a funny list of scenarios and outcomes. The things that happen in 2007 however seem a bit overboard...but not to surprisingly, they do happen.
Those are brill! I needed that laugh!
Alot of it is kinda true though... things really were really different back then, and to do half of that stuff could probably break a few rules in this day and age lol... piss takers...
I saw that on TV once - mayhaps it differed slightly, but the scenarios were practically identical. I found it pretty sad. I think it was on one of those Current Affair programmes.
Kind of an offshoot of this insane "Political correctness" business. It's funny and sad at the same time, really.

You missed the part about getting drafted and killing Asians overseas in a bloody effort to stop the spread of Communism.
Today it's largely the same, only replace Asians with Middle Easterners and Communism with Islamic Theocracy. Oh, and our army is 100% volunteers.
It's funny, but it leaves out the fact that then neither women nor black people could vote. 1957 was not better than now. I'd have been encouraged to take SEWING in school in 1957.
Still, people do get dramatic these days. But it bears wondering: without the drama would the rights we take for granted be preserved? There's a fine line between everything.
Today, I am feeling SERIOUS. So there.

Oh, my god. That's funny. And sadly, very true.
...yeah, chicks and dicks were seperated back then though, which isn't so far back then at all. Isn't it ridiculous only a short time ago women had a lot of shortcomings on their rights, and to this day we're stil short changed in a lot of areas? Seriously. And black people being discriminated, that's even worse. Seperating them from the whites. Honestly, people are so ****ing stupid.
Sometimes I'm just really ashamed of my country.
I remember when you were happy with a RADISH.
wtf blacks and women could vote in 57. not 1857, but 1957.
Everything is pretty spot on though. People are too god damn thin skinned both physically and emotionally. Sometimes a kid needs to get yelled at, just as much as they need a kick in the ass. I'm not saying beat your kid bloody, but if they **** up, sometimes hitting them does the trick. When I ****ed up, I got hit, lost my videogames and tv privileges. I turned out ok, and learned not to **** up again.
I miss the good ole days.
