    Cool Rubik's Cube, anyone?

Well, I only figured out how to solve the entire cube when I was fourteen. But I only know how to solve a 3x3 cube.

    But what about you guys?

I've been able to solve any I've tried. I've found it's always just a matter of time...
The quickest I've solved one is under an hour, one time I think it took me a month of on and off mucking around with.

But I've never really been serious about solving it. It was more to keep me busy for a while in situations where there wasn't anything else around. Nowadays I find I have enough portable consoles that I don't have such problems. One goes flat, out comes the next.

I have NEVER been able to solve a Rubik's cube before. Want to know why?
Probably because I've never had one before, or have tried to solve one. That's a good enough reason eh? I couldn't be bothered trying one out really, I probably wouldn't be able to get it anyway so why even try? I have a better way of wasting my time.

I've never got very far, though I understand some of the principles which must be applied in order to complete it. Or at least I did understand them... it's been a while since I last tried.

My brother once got so far as taking off the stickers and rearranging them into their proper locations

    Back. For a while. Maybe.

Urgh. I tried one once, and got it even more mixed than it was to begin with!

I looked at "how-to" videos on Youtube, before finally accepting that i just sucked at the damn thing and gave up.

If i get snowed in one day (in this day and age, very unlikely) i might try it again, but.... nah, a bit above me. I find it amazing these people that can solve the things in like 10 seconds or so, but if i can solve one in under a year i'd be happy

I solved one! I think your supposed to take the stickers off and put them in the right place - easiest game I ever played!

Na, I'm joking... I've never solved one. When mixing the colours up, I tried to remember which way I turned it, and how many times I turned it. Then just traced back the way I came lol! Then my mum played with it, and I never was able to get it back.

There is a little trick to them though - its in that film... Erm... "In Pursuit of Happiness"... If I remember clearly...

Apparently, its possible to solve a Rubiks cube using complex algorithms. I will never use any sort of algorithm in my spare time, thus I refuse to try to solve one. I hate them so much. Makes me want to put a shotgun barrel in my mouth.

There is a little trick to it, but I completely forgot what that was. One day I was sitting out in the lobby of a kids center messing with the damn thing....bored out of my mind. Next thing I know I solved it in like 5 minutes. It just clicked in my head. I hurried an scrambled them up again, but I discovered it was merely a temporary genius.

I once had a Rubik's cube. After years of sitting and doing nothing but fiddling with it, I decided the whole thing was useless and threw it away. I've never been able to solve one in my life, but there are kids I know that can do it in about thirty seconds flat, and their scary. Even when I once sat there for hours staring at one and planning out how I was going to solve it, I got nowhere. It's too hard for me, so I hate those things.

My way of solving a Rubik's cube is throwing it away. No more stress, no more worry, and no more problems. ^^

I've tried a few times in my life...but I gave up after 5 minutes I'm pretty sure of.
I simply don't have the patience for something like that, I'd smash it through a wall probably >.>

    Peace out
    Blargh?!?!

haha i solved a 2x2 once on a three hour long car ride lol kinda pathetic. i have i friend who can do a 5x5 in like two minutes or something insanely crazy like that. but i think its just a waste of time to sit down and try to figure one out.
