    rocking out to music

I'm unsure if this subject goes in this thread, however, do you have that habit where you're listening to a sweet rock song you have to bob your head or make some kind of movement? and when you do, does it usually happen when its a hardcore song or a soft rock song?

It depends on what song is being played for me, I usually rock out to the hardcore stuff as it rolls around.

I almost always do some short of strange body motion to whatever I'm listening to. If not privately dancing around in my room like an idiot (Most likely because there's people around) I'll whistle as a substitute.

Car dancing is always appropriate with or without someone in the car.

    Ta DA!!!:

    Alright, who censored my rocketship?

    From The Clint Eastwood
I'm thinking about creating a hybrid. A dolphin-monkey. Half dolphin, half monkey. Do you think it's possible?
I was thinking that since I'm artificially creating it, I'll create it with rocket fuel instead of blood, and thus it will be able to fly, using the dolphin's dorsal fins as wings. And from the air, it will look down upon us all and protect us against sharks, and search for bananas.

I also do that every time I drive. (But only when I'm alone.)
I always wonder what people who see me dancing and singing in my car might think about me. XD

Other than that, I only sing. And move my head a BIT. No headbanging, just moving it to the rhythm of the music. I'm a very silent one, I suppose. ^^"
When I was younger, I loved to dance around in my room - until someone suddenly came in and saw me. I was feeling like an idiot then. ^^""

Depends on the song, my mood and who I'm with. I usually nod my head when I'm feeling calm. When I'm seriously hyped up, the nodding can turn to headbangs, and when I reeeally get into a song, I do an air guitar for the solo (sometimes my friends join in/I join in with them). x3

    I rock.

Yes, though not in public. I prefer dancing, and singing when I'm alone as I'm terrible at both. Knocking at my table in rhythm of the music is something I also have habit of doing.

I'm not a big drinker, unfortunately. Headbanging and alcohol to me means banging headache.

...and I can imagine. I ovoid headbang blockers where I can.

    Re: rocking out to music

For me im always Dancing in the car given i listen to alot of metal, rock, and punk most of its pretty Hard! I drum on the steering wheel most of the time as im driving along! i also tend to speed when a really fast paced song comes on!

As for my room due to space restrictions its very hard to flail like an idiot so i tend to sing when im in my room! other than that i don't dance and if im out its gennerally the "Click" move to the right *Click* move to the left!

I drum with my fingers around the wheel, aside from that I'm usually motionless. Most of the activity from music for me is mentally imagery, not quite a trance just triggering of ideas.

I like dancing. I'm proficient at it. Especially with alcohol.

while listening to music? I'm almost always in motion of some kind. The most bare minimum is finger tapping or minute head bobbing. As for car dancing? Always... along with singing. You can look in on me driving and laugh all you want, I'm having a blast.

    Re: rocking out to music

I listen to alot of rock and metal music, and when I do, I tend to tap my foot to the beat of the drums, and all. I don't often dance to my music, but I do also sing sometimes.
"Peace is but a shadow of death, desperate to forget its painful past...
Though we hope for promising years. After shedding a thousand tears, yesterday's sorrow constantly nears.
And while the moon still shines blue, by dawn, it will turn to scarlet hue."
