Well well.

My first name was Shiva. That came about when I was signing up in the town library and said to my friend, 'Think of something to do with FF that won't make me sound like a man or a 5 year old.' I had that name for ages, actually.

And then, Govinda, stolen from a Kula Shaker song of the same title. Also, the Hindu god of cows, land, and the senses. Neat, eh? God of cows. Right on.

Sredni Vashtar was probably my favourite name, but it confused everyone to death. I did enjoy seeing people try to spell it, though. Lifted from a story called The Chicken Shed by Saki.

Pablo Honey. Yes, well, went a bit para. And I was still called Govinda anyway by everyone. Names stick like mud, and I guess i'd gotten used to being referred to as Govinda. Plus, every time I see my name the chorus of the song pops into my head. Good stuff.

Thinking of changing it soon though. Govinda is so last year.
