    Read this in my voice

When perusing these fine forums, do you read posts from particular people in particular voices?
I do even though I've never heard any of you, and even though I've heard Squall~Dissidia talk I don't hear an accent reading his posts
Finding difficulty describing how I mentally hear some of you, but to describe some voices you hear lol
    --
    Ok some examples I've found
Rocky's is what I call my typical suburban kid voice
    --
Messed up the title and since I'm a software retard I'mma leave it

Re: Read this in my voice

Last time I went skyping with Squall, Rocky, Loaf, Chad, Mel, and Sabin (Did I miss anyone?), they associated me as that guy who makes weird sounds.

I would probably describe my voice as a Southern Californian/Standard American accent. I don't sound like the stereotypical stoner surfer dude though. Lol.

re: Read this in my voice

With some posts I hear the voice of the poster. There's only three members who I've heard talking voices from here, and if you count OceanEyes and her singing, that's four.

But mostly, what Loaf said - I just hear my own voice in my head.

Re: Read this in my voice

Yeah I'm wierd like that, I associate people's posts with their voices and I try to match them in my heads as close as possible if I haven't heard their voice before.

Ally sounds like a typical southern gurl with her drawl and her ya'll from when I talked to her before. You'd never really tell by her singing voice, it's like two different things In the best way though I like girls with multiple personalities and voices, just like mai waifu Nicki Minaj! <3

Squall has a really deep voice, he sounds totally different then what I expected lol. When I found out he was 16 I was like "nigguh you at least 30!"

Loaf sounds like hes RZA, at least when he's stoned lol. When he's sober, he sounds like a guy thats pissed off with life, probably because he's not stoned.

Che doesn't sound like Chris Hansen at all lol, idk who said that but it's not true! He sounds like a normal 20something year-old guy lol.

Gypsy sounds like the typical asian woman lol, she sounds pretty much exactly like my friend's little sister, whom is vietnamise.

Sabin: for some reason I see his voice and his posts match up perfectly, idk why but they just do lol, sounds like a regular 18 year old dude.

hahaa Azuteor, the wierd sounds were a good thing though <3 Like they made you sound really expressive, like I could literally see your facial expessions when you talked. You should get into acting, seriously

For some reason I was surprised Polk sounded similar to me, probably more similar then any other person on here. It was wierd because I always used to read his posts with like a smirky voice, but now I just read them in my own.

Pete sounds pretty normal and accentless, except when he gets excited and then you can hear the New York accent ("...holy shit I almost hit a ****ing raccoon it was just sitting in the street!!" -drunk phone call from Pete)

Ruin kinda sounds like me too, which is wierd because I don't associate anything he writes with my voice until I heard him talk before.

Meier: Hey Pete, I said I started to, it just didn't end the with the same number of women. Then again this one is kind of on the outs with me if she doesn't straighten up and fly right so that means I will be back in it for the thrill of the kill. Got some in the reserves. Re: Read this in my voice

I speed read, so the posts don't actually "sound" like anything. It is more of taking a snapshot of the text rather than saying it aloud in my head. Of course writing a post is a totally different kettle of fish. I type it then read it aloud in my head for grammar purposes. It's a habit from school/college.

I'm much the same way. Now that I lurk less, I don't feel the need to move so quickly, but I usually just blast through all of your posts in a few seconds. When there were 3-4 days (or longer) between visits, I'd typically only look for keywords that would require attention, or be a little more thorough when reading something I'd want to post in (and then neglect to do so for a while, like with this one).

When I DO slow down and actually read each post at length, I'll hear them in your respective voices if I've heard them, or inflect some incredibly heinous accent on them.

I assume Merlin speaks in a prim and proper British accent simply due to his mannerisms.

Re: Read this in my voice

All of the posts i read are heard with my voice in my head except for Loaf and Alpha i guess its because i wasn't expecting Loaf's voice to be so deep and Alpha in my opinion has quite a thick accent.

Unless there is speech in the post then there is a normal voice and a really high voice for some reason haha.

Hahahaha, best drunk dial ever, bro.

I don't really read posts in the authors voices, I just kind of read it in my own. Books are a different story though. I come up with all sorts of voices for my characters... and usually get disappointed if there's a movie version, and the character's don't match up to what I had envisioned.

I don't really have any particular voice in mind when I read someone's post. It's more like a speech pattern. Basically how NPCs in RPGs have like 8 or 9 different types you can choose for their voice. They're all more or less the same, some are just louder or more stilted than others. After a while any two people can say the same thing but I'll end up taking it completely differently, which causes problems when I don't read usernames and just assume x person posted.

Whenever I read posts, I read them in the voice of a sexy lady because then it makes them a lot easier to masturbate to.
Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's."

    From The Clint Eastwood
I'm thinking about creating a hybrid. A dolphin-monkey. Half dolphin, half monkey. Do you think it's possible?
I was thinking that since I'm artificially creating it, I'll create it with rocket fuel instead of blood, and thus it will be able to fly, using the dolphin's dorsal fins as wings. And from the air, it will look down upon us all and protect us against sharks, and search for bananas.

I don't hear any accents or voices. Just the way I read everyone else. I know some people have Aussie, Brit, southern, NY (I imagine), but no the same voice I use for everyone.

Re: Read this in my voice

The only voice I hear when I read posts is my own western drawl. I especially hear it when people go off on tangents about their mules, which doesn't happen very often since mules don't like it when people talk behind their backs.
