You think Queens Mall is ghetto? Huh.. I really have never gotten that vibe from it. I mean... I guess the -people- that frequent there do tend to be on the ghetto side, but it's much nicer than like the mall we used to frequent in Nashville when we were in high school. THAT place was ghetto. I can't even remember what it's called even though the building still stands. It went so far downhill, a lot of "gang" (I guess) activity started happening- people getting robbed in the parking lots, shootings on the somewhat regular, etc. It got so bad that between what was going on there and the whole area in general going bad, pretty much all the stores shut down- including the big boxes that surrounded it (Best Buy, Circuit City (yes I know it's totally gone altogether now), Staples, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc)..
We went to Roosevelt Field back in the spring! I really enjoyed it, even though it's not as big as Queens Mall. They've also got a Seasons 52 (I think that's what it is?) that I really have been wanting to try for some time. My little sister is gonna be here on Friday, so we may take her out there one day.![]()
