Just the other day I was going through some old stuff, two particular items caught my intention. I found my old man's medal that he earned while he was in the army. It was given to him by the president himself for defending his country, as to many other brave soldiers as well. I also found a framed recognition, a small token of appreciation from the local hospital, my father was donating blood couple of times per year, every year until he ended his soldier career. With that they were able to save multiple lives, he also helped the same hospital in their biggest time of need.
Going through all that I couldn't help myself but to feel proud of my father, he decided his life so we young ones could live in peace, I simply can't imagine what would happen of this country if it weren't for men like him.
Anyway, do any of you have a person in your life you're particularly proud of, keep in mind that it doesn't have to be for some huge or heroic reason.
