Well, it's officially the Silly Season for every part of the world, and that means Christmas trees. This thread is for you to show off your Christmas tree for those of you couldn't gather that from the name. And talk about any crazy traditions involved with setting up, I guess.

We put ours up today, as is tradition. It's covered in decorations and tinsel - not much green to be seen. Luckily, my mother is addicted to Christmas decorations and not crack, or we'd be broke.

One printer box of decorations, one of lights, one of tinsel and another of stuff to go underneath. We set up each year on the first, along with a CD of ancient Christmas Carols set to this epic pipe organ and orchestra. The choir is operatic, so singing along is fun.
