Phone Apps

*not sure where this should go. oh wells.

I don't have that many apps actually, but what are some of your favorites? Maybe there's something new I haven't heard of worth getting...

There's some pretty cool apps I found, Like FFI for blackberry, it's 5 bucks but it's not bad at all.

Better than that there's an emulator for BB "BerryNES" but I'm not so sure how well that would function, not sure about the games either :s

Also, "SpoofApp" is interesting....it's such an app for creepers though, you can call someone but using a completely different caller ID. I can see how it could be helpful, but to normal folks, pretty stalkerish imo haha

I do like the call control apps though, since I can block whoever I want from calling my phone or pick up and hang up numbers I don't want going to voicemail. I think ALL phones should have something like that.

I wish I had some sort of handheld device that had apps haha. Seriously if I had a phone that did that or an iPod Touch I would get the following app YouTube - LaDiDa Review (iPhone App) along with some games that are on the app like sonic 2 and maybe some emulators.

Favorite Fun App: World War
I like attacking people who get really mad really easily. Because then I have more reasons to attack them back.

Second Favorite Fun App: Pocket Empires
It's an empire. In my pocket. I can just feel the power coursing through my pants.

Favorite Useful App: Calendar
I remind myself of things with it. It's like my daily scheduler, but better because it beeps at me when I don't look at it.

Second Favorite Useful App: Spanish Dictionary
When I'm doing my Spanish homework and I'm too lazy to get up and find my textbook, my cell phone is the best thing in the world.

Favorite Study App: Power Vocab
I study more when the other list gets boring.

Second Favorite Study App: SAT Vocab List
I study when I'm bored and I've wasted all my ammunition in World War.

The only cell phone that has apps that impressed me is the iPhone really. Everything else feels like kind of a knockoff. But I don't really like phones. If I had a cell phone it would be something simple and cheap to make phone calls. =/

Mail on the iPhone is really use and the best mobile Mail app I have ever seen. Some might have more features but they seemed slow and confusing to me.

iPhone Apps:

Quickoffice (for editing MS Office documents on the go)
fring (messenger, useful but I prefer to only use it when there's a wifi point around as it rapes my data allowance otherwise)
Battery Magic (great for seeing how long you have left before the battery dies while playing games or surfing the net
Farm Villain (because I find it a funny take on those annoying FarmVille updates)
Comics (has all my favourites and cheaper than in printed form too)
7.0 MPX Camera (allows me to take higher resolution, better quality shots than the official camera app)

For News I stick to:
- Kotaku
- PocketGamer
and use OzTV as a TV guide

iBooks and a few stand-alone downloadable novels like Underbelly The Golden Mile keep me covered in terms of reading. There's also some reference books like the yellow and white pages handy.

My other half is constantly getting phone apps for his Iphone and I really really want one too
