Aww shes a cutie But I do think her bone is a bit big for her hehe. But also alot of ppl told us not to get a Beagle because they are loud. Aurora isnt loud at all,shes wicked quiet shes only loud when she barks at the cats or if we leave the house and crate her she howls. but other than that shes adorable!!

I thought I would post some pictures of my beloved birds. I have three birds, well five including my Mum and Dad's budgie and a canary. There's three cats and two dogs.

Well I will start off with Bandit, he was the last bird I got which makes him the youngest. He is a Princess Parrot and he's rather crazy. He loves to run around the floor like a mad man, he's doing that right now actually and it's always funny to see. I actually don't know what gender it is but I call him a he for now anyway. He's a great bird and knows how to make me laugh.

Taffy is my cockatiel, I got her the exact same day Silvia passed away which seems really soon but I'm glad I got her. I wanted a male cockatiel more this time round but it turns out Taffy is female but I don't mind so much, I just hope the same thing doesn't happen to her as Silvia. She's an awesome bird who is scared of almost everything and especially my Mother. She cannot stand my Mum, she flies away from her.

Then there's Tiko, who is my baby, he had been sick for a couple weeks but I think he has recovered now. I didn't think at first he was going to make it but he seems to be doing just fine which made me very happy. He's rather hyper at times and loves to play with his toys. He loves to eat peas, parsley, silverbeet, lettuce and many other vegetables. He's rather friendly and makes lovely noises when he wants to. I am trying to teach him to talk but no such luck yet.

There's Sparky who belongs more so to my parents and she doesn't come out of her cage much but for the last couple of nights I have been letting her out more. The only problem I have with it is that Tiko is a boy... and Sparky is a girl so I think you know what I am getting at. Them two hanging around each other = me having to keep an extra eye on them. They like to run around together anyway and have fun. Sparky is a very pretty little bird and enjoys to play as well.

The two dogs I have are named Rocky and Snoopy and they are Jack Russells. They are rather hyper and love to jump up all the time. They're rather fussy which is rather surprising because I didn't think dogs were the fussy type. They can annoy me most of the time because they never settle down, they need some good training I think.

I also have three cats named Sooty, Tiddles and Socks who were all free. Sooty was either abandoned or was a baby feral cat. We found him in our shed as a kitten and we decided to keep him, he was skin and bones and had sores on him but we took care of him and still have him to this day. He is very fussy and only eats fish in a can, the cat food that is. Then there is Tiddles who Dad found on the side of the road one morning when he was going to the markets, he took him home later on and so we had two cats. Tiddles is a very fat cat and enjoys eating meat, he's extremely fussy and it can be very frustrating. Socks was the last cat we got, Dad got him from the markets where people were giving them out so he took one. Socks is the smallest of the group and isn't as fussy as the other two, he is quiet and shy.

Gah! I have said too much, huge post haha. Anyway, that's it really.

Aww you're birds are cute Angel Wings and Lunasa your cats do look identical!! My aunt has a cockatiel bird named Nick,whenever you say his name her dog runs around the cage in circles barking.Its quite funny hehe.

I have six fish, all nameless.

Five of those fish are somekind of exotic breed... they're brown and green or something, and they're really tiny. We used to have about eight of them... But some have strangely disppeared. I'm going to use logic and assume that they were eaten by the other, hungier fish. (I do feed them a sufficiant amount, though.) We also have a goldfish who mimics the other fish or just plain swims on the spot. Boring bugger. A sweetie nonetheless.
I have no pictures of them. They're not exactly the most fun pets in the world, naturally.

Then we have Dory, who is a Russian dwarf hamster who is a year and five months old (that's about forty/forty-five in hamster years), she's still very energetic, and she's warm to those that spend a lot of time with her. She doesn't live at my house anymore, (she lives with my sister), and so I haven't seen her in quite some time. She's grey and white in the Winter time, and light brown and white in the Summer.

Then we have Sari, who is a Winter White Russian dwarf. She is whitey grey, with a darker grey strip down her back, and red eyes. She's a very vicious hamster, and she'll bite anything she's not used to. She's bitten my brother once, and my boyfriend three times. Twice she drew blood. She never bit me, but Lord knows she tried. Sadly, she died a while ago... Somehow, I just can't bear the grief of really admitting that she's gone. I love her very dearly, as I have all of our hamsters.

Lastly, we have Jari, the youngest of my hamsters. Andrew and I got him at the same time as we got Sari and they would sometimes sleep next to each other... A regular sight, was seeing Sari step on Jari when he was asleep to try and wake him up. Somehow, I feel Sari was more a motherly figure to him than a mating partner. Sari was a lot bigger than Jari through her lifespan, even when we bought them home for the first time, which suggests she may have been the mother or sister of Jari, or that Jari was the littlest hamster of the litter.
Jari is a Sapphire Winter Russian dwarf hamster. He is about eight months old now. He is black and grey on top and white underneath in the Winter time, and he is black with an ebony strip down his back with white underneath on his tummy and tail in the Summer time.
Compared to my other hamsters, he is a very loving hamster, who will willingly sit by the hand of a stranger rather than bite you. I have been nipped by Jari twice and those are only times that I've woken him up! He is a very fun loving hamster, who loves to run almost constantly. He maintains a healthy diet and dislikes yogurt treats.
His favourite foods are banana bits, cucumber and fish shaped carrot snacks. He HATES cheese!

Having been an owner of hamsters, I have monitored all types of different behavial patterns. I know when my hamsters are angry, tired or hyperactive by their movements and expressions. Jari has possibly been the most expressive of my hamsters, although that may be because I have spent the most time with him.

Hamsters are extremely expressive creatures, and I'd recommend them to any person in their late teens or adulthood as a friendly little companion. I wouldn't know how I would've gotten by without my little furry friends now.

Another interesting thing about owning pets, is their diet. I love figuring out new food to give to Jari to see whether he'll gobble it down, avoid it altogether or have a few chomps and then not really be bothered.

Toys are another thing. The ultimate enjoyed toy by all hamsters is the wheel. Like all small rodents, hamsters love to run, and so this is a worldwide lov for all hammies! I have experminted with many different toys for my hamsters, and the all time favourite has remained the wheel. I also notice that anything with big enough holes for them to squidge through are also popular. I also have a small blal for my hamster to play with, although he appears least interested in this, and would prefer to sit next to it and sniff it rather than do anything else. Sweet.

Maxi is my cat, she's 7...I think >__< I can never remember.
But she was the runt, and she's really b!tchy to everyone but me and my family haha. And she's kind of a fatass lol.



And Zacky is my rat. I dunno how old he is but I've had him since November '07. He's a big brat and a diva and annoying but he's so cute and I love him.

Falkor:

Alot of people get Falkor confused as an albino ferret, which he's not. In his pictures, his eyes are red from the flash. He's actually what is considered "silver". His tail and parts of his paws have silver guard hair and he doesn't have red eyes.

You guys have some reeeaaally adorable animals. I've been making girly noises since it started.

I've had a pretty good amount of pets so far, I'd say. I had two hamsters who I got a few blurry pictures of, but I don't have those with me in college. But my first was an albino dwarf hamster named... yep... Hamsty. Haha she was adorable. She was a little cranky and would bite if you stuck your hand in her cage. But once you took her out, she was friendly. I did a science fair project with her in 4th grade that won 1st place. I put her in one of those plastic tubs and then put something smelly in the center. Then I observed what she liked and what she didn't. She enjoyed sniffing Ivory soap, and she REALLY enjoyed brandy. Silly thing jumped in the test cup and started washing herself with it. We had to take her out and give her some time to uh... sleep off the booze.

My next hamster was gray with a black mark on her back and a white tummy. I named her Little Dot. Man I loved that hamster. She was so friendly and sweet and quirky. I bought her so many tubes and things to play in. I had her for three years before an ice storm took out the power. I put a blanket over part of her cage and more bedding in it to keep her warm, but I woke up one morning and she was gone. I suppose she was getting old, but it was still really sad.

I also had two cats growing up. Two sisters named Ninja and Bunzai. My parents named her Banzai, but when I was a kid, I spelled it Bunzai because that's how I said it. I decided they were maine coon tabby mixes when I looked up cat characteristics. Bunzai had the tabby M on her forehead and they had the appearance of maine coons, but a little smaller. Ninja was black, so it was hard to tell with her. I'm not sure if I was right at all, but I was pretty sure of it at the time.

Ninja in the snow.
Bunzai lived to be 16, and Ninja lived to be 20. They were so sweet.

I also had a chocolate lab named Lassie. We got her when I was six and Adam was four, and Lassie was the only dog name we could think of. She was probably one of the sweetest dogs I've ever know. She was a little nearsighted, though, and often barked at the trashcan when it sat on top of the hill for garbage day.

Old Lassie. She passed away my senior year of high school. I miss her.

My Mom's house had more dogs. After we got Lassie, she got a rescue dog a year later. We figured she was a lab/chow mix. She was a beautiful dog. Pretty little redhead with lab ears that stuck up like a chow's. Mom named her Bessy after a blues singer.

She passed away the year I left for college. It was really sudden. She was a healthy dog all her life. We're not sure what happened.

And then there was our Chinese Shar Pei. Mom got her as a gift from one of her patients. We named her Pooh. She was an incredibly sweet and loyal dog. Very passive, but if you came to the door and heard her bark, you would think twice about breaking in. If anyone came after us, she would have rallied. I love that dog.

The last time I saw her. She had cancer and after I went back to school, it got bad and they had to put her down. I had a feeling when I left, I wouldn't see her again. So I took her picture.

The other two are still alive. The first one is definitely Jennifer's dog. Mom had Bessy and Pooh and Jennifer wanted a smaller dog of her own. He was supposed to be a Pomeranian, but we got him at a WalMart from people with no teeth so... we weren't surprised when he turned out to be a mix. But it turns out, he's just what she needed. He's smart, he's playful, he's sturdier than a Pom, and he loves curling up and napping. And he's another redhead! Jennifer does agility with him, and they've gotten pretty good. It keeps them both active, and Bear is quite social with other dogs. He's pretty perfect.

And finally, our newest, Bodhi. Mom wanted a dog that would get her active like Bear had done for Jennifer. He's an English Jack Russel terrier, which means he's smaller and has shorter legs than your average Jack Russel. He's still just as tenacious, though. He and I are special to one another. He's always been wary of strangers, and when I came home from college to meet him, that's what I was. But after a few barks, he warmed up to me and ended up curling up in my lap and falling to sleep. Mom is his master, but I am his Alisyn.

I've only ever had the one pet. I have a dog called Rolo. We named he that because when he was a puppy, he used to roll up in a little tight ball, and looked like the chocolate "Rolo". No? Never mind...

He is a mad little thing. He understands what we say, and can spell w-a-l-k-i-e-s. Clever little mutt. He has this way of putting a big smile on my face when I'm down, and everyone who meets him wants to give him big cuddles... if only he stayed still for longer...

I heart that Cat Misty, Rikkuffx. A true FFVIII fan through and through. Your kitties are so cute. Especially the kittens. They could be on a Hallmark card.

Anyways, here we are with some updated photos:


Bizzer is the friskiest cat you'll ever meet. She's got a long story. She's about seven now. But we found her outside my house when she was 5 days old and the rest of the litter abandoned her for hours on end. Her eyes were barely opened and her hair barely grew in. At first, we named her Angel, because she was so tiny and had a cry so precious you'd have tears in your eyes. Then she grew up. She was was a tyrant, scratching everything. She hates people with glasses. She's extremely uptight- She'll be purring one minute and then before you know it, she'll scratch you the next. She slept on my bed every night until I left for college- then she retreated to my little sister's bed. I love her and I'll cry the day she dies, but she's downright mean to strangers. She's calmed down a bit since we got her a friend about 2 years ago. She never sat on laps until we got her friend, who demonstrated what it was like to be a proper cat.
Though, Fatty and Bizzer never got along. Fatty is extremely territorial because before she was given to us, she had an entire manor to herself. She hissed at the curious little Bizzer, who had never seen a kitty up close(We kept Bizzer inside because she was constantly getting attacked by raccoons because of her fragile, long build).


She's about the opposite of Bizzer, except in coat. Bizzer isn't scared. She think she's better than everyone and swats them when they come near her lair. Fatty, on the other hand is a bit timid, but you couldn't ask for a move lovable kitty. We didn't name Fatty, either. The lady who gave us to her did. Apparently, when Fatty was a little kitten, she ate and ate and ate until she was a round little fuzzball. Fatty loves people. She'll sit on your lap if you're a stranger, smell you for a bit, lick your hand and take a lil' snooze. She is a master hunter for it's worth. She catches raccoons and squirrels that are twice her size and eats them for breakfast. She leave mice, voles, and moles all over our back porch. However, she has a certain wild rabbit foe that she's tried to catch for year. It's the same rabbit with the same markings, munching on our clovers. We named the rabbit Arnold. She has yet to catch Arnold. And yet, she tries everyday, getting pounced in the face. Almost as if to tease her, Arnold remains eating our clovers, much to her despise (She wants him for breakfast).

I love to show off my beautiful dog, this is Ritsuka named after the main character in the anime Loveless. He is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the sweetest thing you'd ever met. I love to take pictures of him and these are a few of my favorite. When halloween comes around I shall be dressing him up...more like a cosplay because he'll be Kon from Bleach!

AKA: Frizzy Izzy, Burnie
Age: 4 1/2
Appearance: Fluffy tortoiehell and white tabby with copper-brown eyes. Has a distinctive smudge over cheeks.
Personality: Loves hugs and gets jelous very easily. Also loves to stick his bum in the air when getting hugs. Has a high-pitched meow despite his large size, which leads one to think he may be gay- he has infact fathered many children before he got neutered after Tiddly's second litter of kittens.
Funny fact: Nearly got his tail burnt the other day (hence nickname Burnie). He was sitting by a candle, wagging his tail happily before it went in the flame. Luckily I put it out before it could burn his skin. Izzy was completely oblivious- despite the smell of cindered hair stinking the room out!

Ozzy
AKA: Noo
Age: 4 1/2
Appearance: Fluffy tortoiehell and white tabby with olive green eyes. Has a brown spot to the side of his two-tone pink nose.
Personality: Izzy's brother Ozzy is very daft, and also loves cuddles. He has no killer instinct (has never been caught hunting, and instead of attacking your hand when playing with him he affectionally headbutts it), and no mating instinct (he tried to copy Izzy before but lazily thrust at Tiddly's leg a couple of times and gave up). He greets you with a "noo" sound (hence the nickname), and has a similar "feed me" meow.
Funny fact: Ozzy has a trick. I never taught him the trick, however whenever I put my hand abouve his head he jumps up onto his hind legs and headbutts it.

Tiddley
AKA: Fatty
Age: 3 1/2
Appearance: Grey (with slight brown hint in the light) with a white bib and toes. Copper eyes.
Personality: Tiddley is more of your average cat that doesn't go out of her way to crave cuddles. She will sit by you and let you stroke her in her own display of affection. She has a bottemless pit for a stomach and instead of meowing for food, she will stretch her body up your leg in an act we call "the stritch treatment". She has had 3 litters of kittens, and after being spayed, has put on a little weight. Despite the nickname, she isn't obese, just a little bit of a barrell!
Funny fact: Tiddley hunts. She doesn't hunt mice or birds, though. It all started with her hunting mossballs off the conservetory roof, and the neighbours roof. It started from there. To date the list of other things she has hunted are weetabix, stale bread, garlic bread, yorkshire puddings, butternut squash, and avocado.

Cookie
AKA: Trouble
Age: 7 months
Appearance: Silver tabby with coppey eyes, white bib and paws.
Personality: The nickname says it all. Cookie is a mischievious little kitten that is always up to mischief, if he isn't sleeping. He will act cute and innocent, but this is an act he plays before attack. He gets kicks out of waking the other cats up, and stealing Tiddley's basket (which make her very angry).
Funny fact: We once thought Cookie was a girl. He was one of 3 kittens from Tiddley's third and final litter, and from the rear end looked very much like a female until he was about 4 months old!

Other cats we have had were Ziggy (who unfortunatly got hit by a car a few months ago- she's the shorter-haired brown tabby with no white in the pic), Tiggy and Spooky (both of whom I grew up with). I will update later with pictures of Tiggy and Spooky.

Asside from cats, I also have:
A Western Hognose Snake
A Leopard Gecko
Tarantulas (several different species)
An Emporor Scorpion

2 Frogfish
2 Arowana (a gold and a silver)

Various cichlids (including one thuggish one called Shitty who lives in solitary confinement)

I think Kilala's cat and my cat look very similar! It's kinda cool!

I only have one pic of my kitty. I took it last night when she was curled up on my chest. She tends to do that after I take my shower.

(note: I cropped my face out of the pic, because I had no make-up on and I look hideous without it. I did that for the benefit of those who read this post. You're welcome.)

Her name is Molly. She used to live out in the alley behind my house, and during the winter I let her live in the house. She decided that she liked it better there, so she never left. I don't mind, but I wish she wasn't so damn picky about stuff (and so damn mischievous as well). She also was getting picked on by this other cat that was out there. So that's another reason I let her live in the house.

Idk her exact age, but I think it's getting close to a year old now. She was just a kitten when I found her in the alley.

Idk her breed either, but her species is Felis catus. That's what wikipedia told me anyway...

There are more animals in my house, but Molly is the only one that is mine. My family has 2 dogs and a bird as well. We also used to have a goldfish named Swimmy, but it's in the great fishbowl in the sky now.
