Outside the Box

I'm reaching out to those that think outside the box. My usual sounding board's internet's down so I'm asking everyone here: What emotions would you associate with the follow elements: fire, earth, ice, water, metal, lightning, shadow, holy, and air? I know that most people would associate anger with fire but what else is there?

shadow= mistery
holy= heaven bound
air= free

Earth-lifestream (no joke)
Ice-hate
Water-slippy slides weeeeeee
Metal-sharp/cold
Lightning-fear/danger
Shadow-hidden things
Holy-donuts
Air-life

Fire - Hemorrhoids
Earth - Dehydration
Ice - Hypothermia
Water - Drowning, mass flooding
Metal - Getting run over by a Mack truck
Lightning - Sentenced to death by electric chair
Shadow - Buried Alive, suffocated
Holy - Those annoying Jehovah Witnesses and/or Mormons that go door-to-door, or perhaps those more annoying televangelists/radioangelists
Air - Pollution, toxic gas

My therapist says I am a very optimistic person!

Those aren't elements.

These are.



And they don't have emotions associated with them, because they aren't living. Only living things with actual intelligent consciousness, such as mammals, can feel emotion.

btw, with the exception of metal, those are Final Fantasy elements. Final Fantasy is a fun series of video games dealing in magic and things outside the box. Apparently that was over your head.

I can relate them better to a personality type than any one specific emotion.

Fire, spontaneity, impulsiveness, carelessness, recklessness, having a short temper, one to act rather than think.

Earth, patience, wisdom, stubbornness, passive, disengaged, unchanging, immovable, one who knows their purpose, is certain of everything, and changes for no one.

Ice, cold, apathetic, distanced, level headed, calm, quiet, one with a strong opinion of everything, concerned primarily with ideas, can't be bothered to deal with people. I see myself as an ice type person.

Water, calm, shy, graceful, serene, adaptable, empathetic, quiet. A friendlier ice.

Metal, cool, collected, fearless, critical, analytical, possessing qualities of earth, fire, and ice.

Lightning, I see lightning being pretty much the same as fire, maybe a bit more harsh. Somewhere between fire and ice maybe.

Shadow, intelligent, manipulative, no concern for others, no concern for morality, ruthlessly objective, having the desire and willingness to change the word around them to their advantage.

Holy, judgmental, moral, pragmatic, having a strong sense of justice and a desire to maintain order.

Air, free spirited, flexible, adaptive, goes with the flow, little concern for the world around them, sociable, upbeat.

These are the personalities I think of associating with these elements.

Water: Kindness
Metal: Uncaring
Lightning: Intense
Shadow: Depressed
Holy: Caring
Air: Aloof
