The reason i'm wondering is 'coz i'd like to talk to some of my TFF buddies offline, or when I can't be arsed to come to the laptop to come online

Haha I have BBM, You can add my pin, but if you really want to talk to TFFers "offline" you should just download the MSN app on your BB. It'a orgasmic. Plus everyone on here uses that anyway. I use mine all the time. I just don't like having to sit plastered to the computer all the time, so it's peachy.

I only really have one person from TFF in my BBM contacts.

Mine freezes up my phone, then it goes all retarded and restarts itself several times. I tend to avoid it. Mind you, it's an old phone. Almost 3 years old. I'm impatiently waiting out my contract.

I tend to stick with mobile Facebook.
The beauty of it is if I don't like someone I can just refuse a friend request so they can't contact me. Most of the people I met here I like the most have accounts so it's all sweet.

I used to get on MSN all the time, but have not so much lately. Mainly cause I never see Sabin online(damn you PETER!!!). Also when I am talking to Rocky he randomly vanishes from our conversation.

It's like msn, but exclusive for BB users. If you need a full user guide, feel free to PM me. I've helped many people in the past use it. All you really need to do is figure out another person's pin and add it. The invite contact button usually guides you through it if you've never used it before.

Sounds easy enough. Now I just gotta charge that mofo up and gather PINs .

I haven't been thoroughly impressed with Blackberry, so I haven't had much of an impetus to fiddle around with their proprietary software.

To each their own. I love my blackberry. Even if it has it's retard moments. It's one of the first models. It still runs off of the OS4, which is fairly old considering they have the OS6 now. When I first got it I spend the whole day trying to figure out every aspect of the blackberry. How it works and what it would do if I changed some of the settings and what it would take to fix it if I did something wrong. I got the battery to work longer then it was supposed to at one point. I was able to go 5 days without charging it. I used it frequently too. I have yet to be able to do that with ANY type of iPhone. I have tried, and it always died within the same day. I haven't tried the Android OS though. I hear it's pretty good. It'll take a lot for me to move away from the blackberry though.

My big issue with Blackberry is the plain design. My Nokia E350 at least had an aesthetically pleasing text menu. My Curve 8520 makes it look like notepad. Doesn't sit well with me. I also don't like how hard it is to upgrade. I've been ritualistically trying to upgrade to OS5 but my phone apparently doesn't consider RIM a secure source and won't let me. The phone itself works though, so in that regard I can't complain.

Haha, That's why I have themes! my BB is awesome...Like me I have a Curve 8530.

I usually update mine like...once a year or when something isn't functioning properly. I just use the desktop manager that came in the box. install> update> done. haven't had any problems.

I can't upgrade mine past OS4. They do have upgraded versions of the OS4, but none are worth upgrading yet. When my phone refuses to run a few different applications (like BBM or Facebook), then I will upgrade. Or just get a new phone. I've had my heart set on getting the Torch for a while now. Everything about it is appealing to me. I am waiting for my contract to be up though. That way I can start fresh with another company like Wind (In Canada) or something that doesn't have a contract. I have a lot of thinking to do.
