So apparently there is a new zodiac sign Ophiuchus. For you people born in November 29th to December 17th.


What's your thoughts on this new change?

According to all of this, I'm not a Gemini anymore, I'm a Taurus.

But I honestly think this change effects newborns for 2011.

I suppose there are some people who believe being born in certain months can change who or what you are. I guess in a way it's true. My birthday is in August, and I love summer/warm weather. I'm not sure if that is a coincidence or not, but I think the whole astrology thing is just for fun.

Honestly, who gives a shit? What time of year you were born has no influence on how your personality will be, how you think, who you will marry, or any other factors. You will do what you want, when you want, and for whatever reasons you want to. Some bullshit lunar year has no bearing on it.

I find it interesting that the thirteenth sign has been around since ancient days, but was never officially included. I didn't even know it existed until I was watching a Discovery channel show about the constellations and found it rather interesting that there was a thirteenth one that wasn't really acknowledged and no one really knew about. And now it suddenly it out there.

Well I was in the front end of Cancer, so I don't know if I change or not with all of this. I don't really follow them, but I had to do a little learning about all of them for the Digest's horoscopes. >.> And at least according to one site I used as a reference, the description of a Cancer was frighteningly close to my personality. It was a little unnerving the accuracy.

I want to know who "they" are. I didn't realize that there was some global authority on the Zodiac.

I remember dad telling me a few years ago that the dates required adjusting. I can't remember the reason he gave, but he did say it was likely that most people have the wrong Zodiac.

I suppose this can work as a test of the Zodiac's legitimacy. If people don't have wild personality changes, then they're not real. Can't help feel a little sorry for the people who sold their houses on the advice of a 30 word paragraph in the paper, only to have it all go wrong because they're actually an Osophegus or whatever.

Your sign doesn't change... it is based on the year you were born. Your full astrological chart is based on the exact time and place you were born, among other things. If you're really concerned with what sign you are, I would advise looking into actual astrology sites and not pay attention to news media. The news media is just catching up to things that astrologers have known for ages. In other words, it is a bunch of hype over nothing. As for me I could care less... I just happen to know enough to hold a conversation with those who do if necessary.

So yeah, if in some way this really affected me I would go from the Zodiac sign Aries to Pisces.

Now with that said, there is no way in hell my personality fits the build for me to be a Pisces. Pisces are completely different then what I am supposedly suppose to be.

So in closing: I was born an Aries, will die an Aries. **** all the haters.
