To be honest i hold British humour in high regard, its some of the best, i dont class Rick in this bracket, to me, he just is not funny to me, and i despair when i see people breaking their heart laughing at anything of his, as it just goes over my head
British humour isn't all that bad. Just need to know who is actually really good. Monty Python is terrible, imo...
Ricky Gervais really does suck though. I remember watching one of his shows a few years ago, and thought it was really funny. But then I saw one that wasn't very funny... then I saw his movies, which were terrible at best. And I didn't even like him in GTA IV. Just isn't a funny guy any more.
Russell Howard is hilarious though, so you might want to check some of his shows out (Russell Howard's Good News). I don't think I'll ever get bored of him. xD
Coming Of Age just makes me angry. Outnumbered is very funny, especially the little girl. Hmm... what else...

Jokes I don't find funny at all are all those "Mom"-Jokes. I don't know if anyone knows what I mean but they all go like that: "Mom, mom, I want cookies. - Then get some. - But I don't have fingers. - Well, kid, no fingers, no cookies."
I just CAN'T laugh when I hear those jokes - and really, I love black humor. But that's just not funny.
Oh and I don't like people joking when I'm talking about serious matters. When I tell my boyfriend that I have a problem and he's just joking all the time... then I really get annoyed.

What is with all the hate on Monty Python. Collectively the greatest comedy minds on the face of the planet. Life of Brian is the funniest thing in the universe.
But regarding the original topic, jokes which include the words "Chuck Norris" really get on my nerves. Quite similar to "In Soviet Russia......" jokes in that they try to apply the joke to everything. Now "Penis" and "Fart" jokes, theres a relatively untapped goldmine(cough).

Apparently I find everything funny that all of the people posted before me hate. Ricky Gervais is a comedic genius, imo. British Humor also great. In Soviet Russia jokes, still not old. Your Mom jokes are a bit tough on me now that my mother has passed so recently, but it doesn't stop the fact that if told right (and by that I mean poorly) they can still make me laugh. Something that was never funny and never will be? Starving children in Africa just aren't funny.

Chuck Norris one-liners. I used to play WoW and back in the day, The Barrens was overrun with this crap. It's not funny, it never has been.....and Chuck Norris is a bitch.
Yeah, I hate the Chuck Norris jokes too. I'm told that if you've seen his movies, it helps, but I dunno. I think Walker, Texas Ranger was funny enough in and of itself. I also generally don't think much of "your mom" jokes (even though I end every single one of my posts with one... Guess it's not really a joke.) I guess I could see how a your mom joke being told very poorly could be funny, though, although that goes for most things. "You're mom's too big for the internet." -My friend, muttered whilst half awake. Also, not a fan of jokes being told when someone is trying to have a serious conversation, especially if it's at the person's expense who is trying to be serious. Dick move. I mean, if the intention is to truly lighten the mood and to ease everyone involved up a little bit, I can appreciate that, I guess. Or if the targeted individual is being a total boner, although that's kinda subjective. I do love me some Monty Python, though. Also, America's Funniest Home Videos.
Parodies of things that are already funny. No, that's not clever. You just recycled the original material and made it more stupid. Also, "jokes" that are just straight up insults or rants against someone or something. Occasionally it's funny if done correctly, but I don't think the majority of the internet know how to do it right. The majority of the time that I see the internet try to do it, I think, "Jee, you're kinda an asshole." EDIT: An example of it being done "right" = the late, great George Carlin. Anyhoo...

Punk'd was never funny in my opinion. i understand the fun of someone making a fool out of themselves but the jokes get old real fast and i usually end up feeling sorry for the victim.
