Maybe you should open a poll and ask people when they come online. That way, you can see about what time they come on the most, and you can organize the meeting then. ^^

Well, you could, and then include in the intro post that you don't know if you can. Therefore, the mods will know that you don't know so the worst they can do is close it down; you don't get in any trouble!

OR you can PM a mod (make sure it would be one of the active GC mods or an smod) before opening it up and asking for permission first. Sort of a look before you leap situation.
