Living the dream.

So in the last few weeks my band has made huge strides in the local music scene and the ripple has gotten so big that it's drawing a lot of attention around Oklahoma.

When I was a kid and first started playing drums one of my dreams was to play on stage with one of my favorite bands. Not in the band but to open for them. Just for a band I was in to share the stage.

For those that keep up with me on Facebook already know that my band is now booked to open for one of my favorite bands, Bobaflex, on Sunday. This blows my mind still seeing we got offered the show off our reputation alone.

My next milestone is Rocklahoma!

So my question is how many other people have had a dream as a kid or an adult and actually have made it a reality?

You guys should put something on bandcamp, man. I'd totally buy it. Your beard alone demands it.

This is a bit premature, but I wrote a book last year, and I turned a manuscript in to some professional editing place to critique. They really liked it, apparently, but said I had some grammatical stuff, so I went look for a freelance grammatical guy. He looked my stuff over and said I had a really good grasp of english grammar, and gave me a really low price for editing. So I feel like I'm on my way right now, heh. This is my dream. That, or be a cartoonist. Or a singer. Whatevs.

I opened for one of my favorite bands earlier this year. It was neat. I hope you have a blast.

My dreams are all over the place and I have no idea what I want. Is this normal?

I mean. I want a nice house. With a garden and garage gym. And one or two dogs and a cat. Not a fan of kids, but I do sort of want a child or two. I want a bike and a car. I want to write a book. Design a video game. Travel the world. Discover a pirate ship full of gold. Retire to a house on the beach full of my gaming and travelling crap with wifi of download speeds in the terabytes per second.

We will be hitting the recording studio very soon. Until then all I can give you is click bait to some video. This www taken last night as we opened the show for 2 nationally touring bands! It was a blast.
