Yup, Kanye West or aka "The Voice of our Generation" has finally realized how undope he really is and the popular Comedy Central Show and my (favorite show) South Park opened his eyes to the truth in their recent new episode on Wednesday. Here's the link:

NEW YORK – "South Park" may have accomplished the impossible — getting Kanye West to check his ego. The Comedy Central show skewered the famously self-important rapper on its show Wednesday night, painting him as a narcissistic figure so out of touch with reality he couldn't even take a (very politically incorrect) joke.

West's love of himself and his work has been almost as integral to his image as his music: Just last year, he told The Associated Press that he was the "voice of this generation." Also recently, he was quoted as saying his greatest regret was not being able to see himself perform live.

Yet, on his blog Thursday, West appeared chastened, and ready to turn over a new leaf.

In typical all-caps mode, he wrote: "SOUTH PARK MURDERED ME LAST NIGHT AND IT'S PRETTY FUNNY. IT HURTS MY FEELINGS BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SOUTH PARK! I ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY EGO THOUGH. HAVING THE CRAZY EGO IS PLAYED OUT IN MY LIFE AND CAREER."

West said that he started stroking his ego long ago to build up his self esteem — but he now realizes he needs to "GET PAST MYSELF."

In the self-reflective post, he said that people won't take him seriously if he keeps it up (perhaps referring to his well-documented meltdowns at awards shows when he didn't win what he expected).

"I JUST WANT TO BE A DOPER PERSON WHICH STARTS WITH ME NOT ALWAYS TELLING PEOPLE HOW DOPE I THINK I AM," he said.

And perhaps to show that he's really serious about making that change, he provided a link to one of the most biting moments from the "South Park" show, and thanked the writers as well.

Okay. So let me get this straight. This guy. The guy who once compared himself to Jesus Christ got a reality check from a television show that features a character who is a towel that smokes pot.

It must be fantastic to be a rapper. See a cartoon, have a spiritual awakening. Beat the hell out of your girlfriend, have people actually support you. You know what? I want in. From now on, you all can call me MC Polk. Don't even trip n whatnot. Who wants to be mah bitches?

Haha I think the whole deal is kind of funny in a way, especially like Polk stated earlier, how he had his epiphany while watching a South Park episode, out of all things. At least the man is open to criticism, which is saying a lot compared to others.

Hopefully Lil Wayne is next on South Park's agenda. That man needs to realize that he is not meant to play guitar.

Holy crap I think I pissed myself laughing at that South park. Kanye's a douche, can't stand the guy. I don't like his music, especially the daft punk rip-off he did >_<.

Honestly, I though the all caps stuff was kind of noobish. It's funny for him to act all damaged and then stroke himself yet again. Good episode, though.

Off topic for a bit, some of the recent South Parks have been hitting celebrities where it hurt- especially that Jonas Brothers one. I can't believe they did that to Mickey..... XD

Recent? It's pretty much what South Park has always done ^_^

Its funny. As offensive as South Park is, it really can express some truths that do seem best exposed through mockery. The fact that Kanye has been humbled by this experience is genuine proof. Heck, I can think of times where I have been mocked and ultimately caused to notice flaws in myself as a result.

They say fish (and therefore fishsticks) increase your brain power. It seems that this is not so much the case, more-so that they can be used to bitch-slap you out of stupidity.
