I find it stupid and it shouldn't be on T.V. I saw my brother laughing at it, and I thought "How is this on the air?" What do you think.

Edit : The worst part of these shows is that children and teenagers try the stunts of the show and get seriously hurt...

I think its good for some cheap laughs. A more... dangerous version of You've Been Framed if you will. Yeah, some of it is a bit... only a really silly person would do that, but you have to laugh.

I watched it yesterday on TV. It is on pretty late, and good parents would have sent their kids to bed long before it came on - especially seeing as it was a school night.

Yeah, there are some stupid teenagers out there who'll try half the things they do, but hey - its no ones fault but themselves if they get hurt in the process. Bam didn't tell the world to let off fireworks in your parents bedrooms, did he? Steve-O Didn't tell the world to get a tattoo done on the back of an off-road vehicle, did he? It DOES come with warnings at the start and finish of the film, so... its up to us to listen or not.

I personally find it awesome, very funny to watch. I saw both the Jackass movies in theatres, and couldn't stop laughing at all. It's very good for cheap laughs

Dirty Sanchez isn't so much funny, it's a lot more cringeworthy and makes you go "Oooh..oww..ohh"

Unknown Entity I get what you mean but there are very stupid teenagers who have no common scene and or have behaviour issues. They find this stuff cool and try to copy the stunts even if there is a warning. I admit I have watched it and giggled A FEW times but overall I don't like it I mean I shouldn't be watching this because I'm 14 but I have because of my brother. I mean just because I don't like this doesn't mean I don't have a scene of humour if you know what I mean. But overall I do agree with you Unknown.

It's not terribly subtle dry humor but it funny enough sometimes.

You know I have 0 sympathy for hearing how things influence kids to try things. From video games, music, tv. It all comes down to personal choice. Jackass came out when I was on 6th grade (so 11 or 12 at the time) and I never felt compelled to try their shananigins. But for kids who think it would be funny to try out a wacky stunt involving a cliff or fire then thumbs up on their stupidity.

People have been doing mindless stunts or pranks as far back as i know. But if the so called glory of MTV is what motivates you to buck up and go for it then you reap what you sew. As funny as the stunts might even sometimes be most of them are on drugs anyway haha so that should set a presitent on the 30 year old guys who dance in speedos. And yes party boy still makes me laugh.

Most of the times they're hilarious, yes they can be also disgusting sometimes but they make me laugh and that is the only reason why I watch them.

I don't like that many people criticize them, saying that they have to much influence on kids and that kids do the same things because of them. I mean they are aware what they're doing and how they behave but they are doing that for one simple reason - money. And also they may look like a bunch of fools but they're professionals for stunts.
Those kids who try to do the same stunts are the stupid ones. I don't think that some characters from TV can make you do something you don't want to. It's not like Steve - O told them to do something stupid. We are all aware of our actions and if bunch of kids wanna do something stupid than that's they decision. I have watched Jackass from the very beginning and not even once has crossed my mind to do something dangerous and stupid, I call that common sense. I truly fell sorry for those who don't have it.

I've never seen that dirty sanchez or whatever, but I think shows like Jackass and Nitro Circus are pretty cool, lol. It's a bunch of people doing stupid things that I would never care to try, and getting paid to be a natural idiot, how awesome is that? My favorite part of Jackass is the guy doing all the party boys, someday I will work on becoming that man. I obviously have the looks down, I just need to fine tone the abs a bit more and do some more upper body workout and I'll be doing what that guy is someday, lol. But yeah, its funny stuff and even though its mostly stupid, it always seems to brighten my day and it gets a laugh out of me, which is important.

It's even more funny when I'm drunk. lol.

I've always found Jackass really funny but just don't find Dirty sanchez funny for some reason.
It might sound harsh but I personaly think, anyone who is stupid enough to copy what they do, deserves to get hurt, maybe it will teach them to not be such idiots.

If people are stupid enough to try stuff from a show that insists that people don't try it at home, they don't have any right to blame a tv show. Besides, teenagers do stupid stuff without seeing it on tv first.

Personally, I think the show is hilarious. A bunch of rich skaters who staple stuff on their ass, do a "wedgy benji jump" or dress up as monkeys and go gocarting in town. Yeah, that does it for me when I'm in for some cheap entertainment.

Okay I can't argue with the logic about it's you own fault if you try it. But why is it so funny. I cringe at everything they do. Most of it is disgusting but I have to admit I couldn't stop laughing at party boy and I like when they pull pranks. Its the stunts. *shivers*

I don't particularly care for the shows. Yeah, some can be a little funny, but thats what comedy movies are for. The movies, from what I've seen of them are no where near 'pieces of art' in the comedy industry, but like I said it does warrant a few laughs. Although, I would much rather spend my time doing something else

I've never seen that dirty sanchez show,but I do watch Jackass.Jackass does have its funny moments,but some are just plain ridiculous.

I saw the both Jackass movies, I have a better recollection of the first, and both were funny because it is something you don't want to believe they are doing. I have never heard of Dirty Sanchez so I can't comment on that. People have different senses of humor finding certain things funny and other things not. Kind of like food, everybody does not like what everybody else likes. People have tastes be it in movies, books, clothes, music, or humor.

I really enjoy both shows. Always good to see people who will do the stupid stuff you would never do. I almost pissed my pants at the first Jackass movie. People getting hurt is funny. Kinda like fart jokes, no matter how old you get fart jokes are still funny.
