Everything
I got this idea a few days ago and just NEVER got around to posting it. I think it's interesting and I have the PERFECT example! My mom's friend has a niece that usually ALWAYS wears a headband. You know, the kind that go over the top of your head and tuck behind your ears. She has many. Dark blue, red, pink. But her favorite is one that is white with black polka dots. Maybe its because she is blonde and I'm brunette or that I'm six years older than her but... I tried wearing a head band. IT LOOKS GAWD AWFUL ON ME! I just CANNOT PULL IT OFF (Not literally, thank Gawd) but geezuz. I see women wearing head bands though rare so I doubt its a kid thing. Maybe I just need a complimentary one, like black!
Anyway, it got me thinking about how some people have the look that fits certain outfits or dress styles. I hate how Yoga pants look on me but they look fine on my history teacher. I just can't even.
This goes for both the guys and the girls of this lovely forum. What do you see that looks good on other people but just looks odd on you?
Spit out your stride gum and chew another piece already... or I'll haunt you.

Blanket scarves, coats and ponchos are pieces that I wish I could incorporate into my own and my clients outfits and make it look both sophisticated and effortlessly chic like Olivia Palermo.
One of my style icons, I wish I could pull off EVERYTHING as well as this girl does. Perfection. Not just her fashion sense n style bt her many hairstyles, makeup looks n her badass attitude. She's also the only person in the world to make tattoos look appealing to me.
One-piece swimsuits. It's not so much that I like em (far from it) or that I think they don't suit me as well as other girls, I just find them SO UNCOMFORTABLE even when Im modelling in them. Id rather be topless n in a g-string over that shit anyday.
Monokinis however are the exception. They're also one-piece swimsuits but with cutouts. I usually pair most of mine like this crochet one with jean shorts n gladiator sandals or tight jeans n ballet flats in the summer for casual wear. If I have an upcoming work event/function or jus parties, I like to pair one of my more formal looking monokinis with a wrap skirt n heels like this set.
A girl can never have too many bikinis n Ive got quite a collection. The last bikini I bought was this set in white for my trip to Bora Bora later this year. Some of the bikinis I get free from shoots I happily give away to friends because I don't think Id pull em off as well (or because they look tacky n hooker-ish haha).
I was at my friends place the other day n she handed me this blue velvet wrap dress to try on bt Id seen her try it on before n it looked so much better on her

Mu'****in hats.
My head is enormous. Hats are either too small and I look like Aladdin or that's a big goddamn ****in hat and that doesn't look good anyway.
Sometimes I wear a big floppy hat, because I'm pale AF and I don't like sunburns so whatever. Or it's cold and I need that beanie, and those stretch.
But damn, hats look so cool on some people. People with smaller heads. Friend of mine has a little tiny head. Looks great in hats.
EDIT: Me in hats

It's okay that I have a big head. It makes me well suited to being on stage, because everyone can make out my facial expressions lmao.
I may or may not put hats on the pig.
I found a pair of sunglasses that look good on me and I am VERY protective of them, because those don't come around often. They were like $13 from a CVS and they have odd glitter giraffe print, but I don't care, I love them.

Crescent should stoppit 'cuz she can rock pretty much everything.
I love the long scarves that can be folded up to be used as a head band, tied under the hair, and have some length left over.. I had one such scarf that I bought from Target- it was my favorite thing ever. And this crackhead I worked with at Red Lobster stole it from me when I stayed the night with her once. I used to get complimented on that scarf all the time...
Anywho.. There are tons of things that look awful on me that I wish I could pull off - rompers, shorts (of any sort), fit & flare style dresses, dresses that are baggier in the top and tighter fitted on the bottom, bikinis, monokinis, one pieces...
Clothes look bad on me in general. I'm having a rough time right now. But even when I'm skinny, I have an odd body shape, so it's pretty touch and go with what I can pull off.
I hav to second sunglasses. I wear em often bt only cause they protect my eyes n I like the sleek designs on some.
Big statement necklaces and chokers. I had to wear a huge gold plated choker yesterday. Twas uncomfortable n I'm generally not a fan of em -on me- let alone massive chunky ones that cover my entire neck n restrict my breathing n head movement. Also Harem pants. They dont look good on anyone. All round unflattering.
I only ever try clothes that I like, so everything that I wear looks good on me, and everything that I don't wear looks **** ugly on everybody else.
I don't really care about fashion, so I don't envy what people are wearing. People try way too hard to stay in style. Being yourself never goes out of style, though.
