You need me, I'm a one man cleaning crew. I have been trained from a young age to clean, clean, clean. Not something I'm necessarily proud of, but hey, at least when I finally get a girlfriend I'll be clean lol.
I've been cleaning this morning. I started in the hallway cupboard, because it had a lot of junk in there, mainly just boxes and plastic bags from when we moved here. I threw all that stuff away and reorganised the towels and sheets and put the air mattresses in there.
Then I moved onto spare room 1, which has nothing but some odd things (a samuri sword, suitcase, a little metal Terminator statue, a lamp, a hat, an empty box and some paperworks) in the cupboards and a tv. Now, I basically pulled everything out of the cupboard and it's now on the floor, just sitting there.
Then I went to the kitchen and cleaned out the pantry and my 2 draws full of crap, like other peoples mail and newspapers and just junk that I will never use ever.
And now I'm here writing this because I got bored. So I'm sitting in a messy house. I try to start with one area and finish it, but I always end up cleaning a bit of one room then go to the next. Now I've got a bunch of random stuff all over the place and I don't feel like continuing I still have the lounge room, spare room 2, 2 bathrooms, a garage and my bedroom to go! Sigh.
But I have to finish, because my boyfriends father and stepmother, are coming to live with us, oh joy! They sold their house and are planning on building a new house, but the build has been postponed and the house they were going to rent in the meantime, was givin to someone else And they're like REALLY clean people, so I need to get my act together.
Is anyone else bad at cleaning like me?

I'm pretty good at cleaning, but I'm easily distracted. If I find something cool that I've not seen in a while, you betcha I'm going to play with it for a while before I get back to cleaning.
But other than that, I'm good. I firstly go around collecting trash and junk I don't need or want any more. Then I go through paperwork, and shred stuff with my details on them (or at least make a pile of it). Then I start putting things away in their rightful places, and I finish up by vacuuming. Sometimes I'll vacuum under my bed and easy to move furniture too.
Then I'm done, and will relax with a cold drink.
I don't clean in big goes, because I never allow things to get messy. Every time something is moved from its 'place', it is strictly temporary, and at a one-at-a-time basis.
For instance, only one videogame is ever off my shelf at one time. If I want to play something else, I put the first one back where it came from before collecting a second.
It's simple. Never get messy = never have to clean.
Cleaning gets on my bussom ... ESPECIALLY HOOVERING ...hoovers are the stupidest invention. . they are unnecessary ... they are heavy, awkward, noisy, smelly bastard devices. If I wanna dust a mat, I'l bring it outside and shake it, if the floor is dusty I'l sweep it.. simple.
im not a massive fan of housework, if I can put off hoovering by doign something else, i will
I quite like clear outs though, when i get in the mood, nothing survives. It amazes me how i can amass so much crap and end up throwing bag after bag of stuff out..
Its the general day to day stuff I hate though, hoovering, mopping, dusting etc.. my kitchen is always spotless though, I cant stand an untidy kitchen. Shame Im not the same with the rest of the house
I will not do cleaning at all unless something is ungodly filthy, like the bathroom was last week. I got so pissed off with my other half NOT doing it (he is at home all day so he doesn't have an excuse really) that I went and scrubbed the bathroom. The end result was worth it, though.
However, at work I am very clean and tidy. If the sink is the slightest bit dirty then I will scrub it! I pride myself on clean toilets and floors when I an on Dining Area as well. Everyone comments on it and assumes my house is spotless. Ummm... okay... :/

The less chance we have of being killed." ~ William Topaz McGonagall (1830-1902)
Once I start cleaning, I'm on a roll, and I kind of get a kick out of it. It's just starting to clean that gets me.
I can be very cluttered. My messiness isn't from leaving food or dishes out, I don't like when things stink. It's mostly clothes and papers. I just need to be better organized for the sake of anyone I live with one day. But if it's just me, I can usually find everything in my clutter.
I hate when other people organize for me. I used to tell my parents, "If it's pissing you off, just tell me to clean or you'll do it yourself, and I'll get on it." I hated when my dad would just randomly clean my room while I was spending a weekend at my mom's. I'd be searching for things for weeks, and it wasn't good for my transition into adulthood.
Curious?

My mother was a nightmare for that
I'd get in from where ever Id been that weekend and my room wouldnt only be tidy, it would be completely rearranged. She used to come in while i was still in bed and hoover around me.
Finding stuff was always a nightmare when the room was tidy. Im much the same now really. Il tidy up, put summat away somewhere and I wont be able to find it again til i chance upon it looking for summat else
Yet if I drop summat down the back of my drawers or my bed or whatever, Il just leave it, knowing Il remember its there..
As long as the place isnt dirty really im not fussed. id rather live in (clean) chaos than it all being super tidy and not being able to find **** all
My house is spotless now Oh it's so good being in a clean space.
I guess I'm not bad at cleaning, I just lose focus while I'm cleaning LOL. My wardrobe is a whole other story though.... I'll get to it... one day lol.

I'm very messy. I can't help it! If I need to be organized for something, I'll go ahead and be really super organized...my bedroom is a complete mess most of the time... not dirt-wise, but clutter. Clothes, paper, books, empty bottles and lighters wherever you step. I don't even smoke anymore. My office was neater but still messy. I have files and paper everywhere as well as mutilated boxes from all the crap that came into my office. I'd clean if I had time... or maybe I wouldn't. My boyfriend is just the same, if not worse because he actually LOSES stuff in the mess. Srsly, wtf.

in order to get possible girlfriends, gotta keep a clean house.
one of my friends had a funny episode in which he brought a girl home from a bar to his very messy place. This girl threw such a huge fit that she ended up cleaning his kitchen and living room, and then she left with no shenanigans afterwards, lol. I was dying when I heard it.

hahas, updated July 28th (oldie but goodie!):
Ah ha, my ex lived in shared uni accomodation, and when I went up to visIT I had an absolute fit over the kitchen, I think Id wandered off for a drink, half an hour later he comes looking for me and Im arm deep in bubbles cleaning everyones pots. Messy bastards
When me and Tom move in together, as long as he hoovers (and maybe dusts too and doesnt expect me to iron because I hate it) we should be good
I'm good at cleaning. I'm so good at cleaning that when I met the president last May, he told me that I was good at cleaning. He said that if there was a Cleaning sport in the Olympics, that I would win the Gold Metal for Cleaning. That's how good I am. He also said that if I competed in a cleaning competition against Jesus, that I would win. Then he told me that if Jesus and I competed in the Cleaning portion of the Olympic Games, that I would win Gold, and Jesus would win Silver.
