I have always been a fan of peanuts and cashews. And at least once a week I indulge in the favory flavor of a can of planters.

I'm allergic to nuts, as I have previously stated in other posts, maybe. I can't eat Cashews, Peanuts or Pecans.

I CAN eat Almonds (I love Almond Butter), Hazelnuts, Walnuts, Pistachios, and other nuts that have nothing to do with the three mentioned above. I'm fine with my allergy. At least I can eat some nuts. I just need to make sure I ask the right questions before eating something that I'm not familiar with.

Fuckyeah pistachios. Walnuts are ok, and pecans are quite possibly the greatest damn things on the planet. I hate boiled peanuts, though.

I'm kind of a big fan of mixed nuts. Cashews, pistachios, and pecans are some of my favorites. Walnuts are alright, but I think I might be slightly allergic, since my throat gets a little itchy; not like it's closing up or anything, but it gets itchy. Almonds are ok, and I absolutely love roasted chestnuts, especially when they're in my moms Thanksgiving stuffing.

No, I wasn't saying you were doing that, I was referring to that guy who made a thread or two about being kicked in the nuts, only I added hyperbole onto the rate at which he made said threads. When I saw the title, I thought you were going to do what he did.

I like chunky peanut butter and pecan pies. But I am not a big fan of them by themselves. However, we would collect the walnuts from our walnut tree at our old house and eat those if we wanted something to snack on. Those were pretty good. And free. You can't beat free.

Chocolate covered peanuts are the way to go! love those. I also like the peanuts you get in restaurants where you have to crack the shells in order to be able to eat them and peel the coverings.

My ex's father, licked all the chocolate off of some chocolate covered almonds and put them in a bow, and offered them to the people that worked next door to him. Those people f*cking ate them!!!! Hahahahahahaa!

I don't think I've ever had chestnuts. I do know that most of what we call "nuts" technically aren't -- peanuts are actually in the bean family, almonds (and I think pecans and coconuts and even pistachios) are actually in the "drupe" family with peaches and such ... I think macadamia nuts are just a really hard fruit or something. Don't know much about them except that there are only one or two types of edible macadamia nuts -- the other types contain cyanide. See, you learn something new every day.

Though, I can't say I'm a huge fan. If I had to cut nuts entirely out of my diet, I think I could manage that fairly easily. I like some of them, but I guess I just don't care that much for them. Every great once in a while I'll buy some, though -- usually cashews, sometimes almonds or pecans, rarely peanuts. Cashews and peanuts, always honey-roasted. Almonds and pecans, sometimes honey-roasted, sometimes plain, usually smoked. And sometimes pistachios, though I suppose I'm unofficially boycotting them because of those stupid friggin' commercials.

Most nuts I don't like eating straight, but I like them in things. Nuts I do like eating alone include cashews, honey roasted, flamin hot, or other sorts of flavored peanuts, don't like peanuts plain and unflavored though. almonds and pecans I like if they're in something, but not straight. I like coconuts, thought I'm not sure if anyone considers those nuts, but then half the things we call nuts aren't. Peanuts for example are technically a legume. I like macadamia nut cookies, but I can't eat them plain. That's about as nutty as I get, I don't like most of them. Cashews I'll sit and eat until there are none left though, I ****in love me some cashews.

Nobby's is a brand name of pre-packaged nuts. Here's some more info from our good friend wikipedia.

Nobby's is Australia's largest producer of pre-packaged nuts. Crisps are also sold under the Nobby's brand. The company is owned by The Smith's Snackfood Company. Nobby's products are typically sold in supermarkets as well as pubs.

In the early 2000s their products also started to appear in the UK. They are manufactured there by Walkers under licence, but they have kept all references to this off of the packaging.
