Ok imagine (yes think outside the set standard box) that all religions that denounce reincarnation were wrong.

If you died what would you want to come back as? If a super powerful being made that choice dependant on how you lived your life for you what do you thing they would have you come back as? Why?

So seriously, everyone wants to pick endangered animals to come back as? It's not like you wanted to help the population count. Beautiful as they are, it would ****ing suck to be a Tiger, or a Panda. I guess at least pandas aren't just straight carnivores, they eat greens too. Tigers constantly have to hunt shit down that avoids them to get a meal for themselves and their young, so they don't starve, while avoiding poachers.

That being said, If I was able to choose, I'd come back as another human.

Most animals have to hunt down their food, either that or just forage for it, unless you're a farm animal or domestic pet.

As odd as it sounds, i would actually like to come back as a whale. They get to swim in the deep blue ocean, and are arguably the largest known creature in existence. They don't have to take crap from no one.

Plus, it would be fun just swimming around forever i think - all i gotta do is open my mouth to have dinner xD

Interestingly as part of my coursework last year I had to create a game based on a short story from David Eagleman's book 'Sum: Tales from the Afterlifes' which explores the various possible different kinds of afterlife that we could have waiting for us when we die.

Reincarnation was dealt with specifically. Because of the way that Eagleman tells it, if I had the choice I would most definitely pick human. Why? Because once you reach the end of your life and want to have an easier next life you'll pick something simple-minded. But of course if you do that you're stuck as a simple-minded animal and will not desire to be a more complex minded creature at the end of your own life, you'll just keep going down the intelligence meter.

That's a horrible thought. Sure it would be nice to be a bird and see the world from the sky or something like that, but after dying as a bird what will you come back as? A worm? An amoeba?
