How often do you guys eat out? (can be everything from fine restaurants to fast food places).
I go out to eat instead of cooking at home about twice a month on average.

<insert dirty joke here> trololol
But srsly. I'm currently waiting in a restaurant by myself, waiting for my boyfriend and a few colleagues to get off work. I eat out pretty often, due to the lack of places and facilities at work to cheaply prepare healthier food. Even at home, it's faster to pick up fast food instead of cook up something special.
Which is a shame, as I'm a fantastic cook when I want to be!
Aye girl, not nearly as often as I'd like!
But as far as food is concerned, more often than I should. It's usually 2-4 times per week; lunches at work and whatnot. Some weeks I'm really good and bring food the whole week, and then others, I'm definitely not. My wallet appreciates when I go the savvy route though.

Not nearly enough as I want. The people I live with don't eat beef, and all I have wanted for the last five months is a cheeseburger.

Mostly only on weekends, and sometimes during the week for lunch.
Never. Eating out costs money, which is something that I don't like to spend. And by never, I mean that I ate out last night. So maybe like once every three weeks. But I still don't like spending money.
more than I should, and can afford ):
A lot. Cooking takes too much effort, and I'm really wasteful with money. IN the average week about 7 times, often more.

I go out to eat usually once a week. And it is always on Monday and I go to Moe's.
More often than I should out of sheer convenience. I am trying to curb this habit to save on weekly expenditures.
Hero façade. Villain at heart.
Does going to 7-11 count? If so, all the freakin time.
It's hard enough to wake up at 530 every morning to get to a jobsite an hour away by 7. I'm lucky if I make it to 7-11 with time to grab a coffee and a muscle milk. Lunch is usually a sandwich from a deli or a chicken sandwich from a Burger King. Dinner, most nights is something healthy at home, but if I'm with the lady, chances are we're going out someplace.
Eating healthy is freakin hard, especially when time to work out is extremely limited

Everyday.
My friends n I text each other throughout the day deciding on what we feel like. It might be Italian, Japanese, Thai, Mexican food etc for dinner or dessert or both. We often go to 2 or 3 restaurants in one night because we know which places have the best desserts eg ice cream wirh roti or pancakes, entrees, mains and drinks like green tea lattes or smoothies. Even if I'm at home n I've already eaten or don't want to go out they'll already be outside my place in the car msging me "Btch I'm downstairs get dressed my shout" so I'm like k free food hehe. It's fun.
I didn't mean to insult. I was simply stating that eating so much fatty food, such as dessert, would put a little bit of meat on your bones, which isn't a bad thing at all. Adipose tissue contains qualities beneficial to human health. Fat helps store energy, helps heal injuries, and contains a vast array of immune cells. There is a difference between having fat and being overweight. I was not calling you overweight.
Mr Eastwood, if she hasnt put on 30 kgs since last night skype, I can tell you she's far from it.That n her spammin the Clothes thread
In all seriousness, if I could afford to splurge, I would eat out everyday. One of the joys of life. The times that I eat out at a nice restaurant is when I have a date. At work, I'll stop by a burger joint or pick up something from the station. As it is, it fluctuates depending on schedule; not as much as I'd like, probably still more than I should. At the moment, I'd say on average 5 times every week.
Do you know what's not good for ones health? Eating out every day.
Eating is necessary for survival purposes, however, you save money going though newspapers and looking online, collecting coupons, and getting massive deals in savings at big branch grocery stores. You would need to learn to cook first, but being able to cook is a very useful skill to have.
Eating at restaurants every single day can quickly empty your bank account, especially if you're ordering not just an entree, but an appetizer, dessert, drinks, or whatever, plus a 20% tip. Coming from somebody who was living in poverty just six years ago, I understand fully the effects of stress that stems from financial worry. It's the kind of stuff that keeps you up all night; chronic anxiety.
Money doesn't grow on trees. Literally. It's not made from paper. It's made from linen and cotton, so if I'm being serious here, money grows in cotton fields.
So here's what I'm getting at. You do not want to eat out too often, because eating out requires spending money. Spending money leads to bankruptcy. Bankruptcy leads to chronic anxiety. Chronic anxiety is a factor which can lead to depression. And if you get depressed, your risk of suicide is 15 to 20 times higher than somebody not suffering from depression.
If you lessen the amount of times you eat out so that you only go to restaurants on special occasions, you are 15 to 20 times more likely to not kill yourself. Does any of that make sense?
Whoa guys, stay on topic. Take it to VM if you must, but ask yourselves if it's worth it first!
I'm at work, but dun be thinking I won't get my laptop out when I get home to roll some warnings out.
