The miracle fruit. One taste turns sour into sweet. Can anyone imagine drinking vinegar like it was carob syrup?
Reactions, thoughts?

Thats pretty cool. Its amazing what people are finding every day. I would love to try one of them berries.
It kinda reminds me of an episode of "Sliders" (don't know if anyone ever watched that, it was pretty good) Well anyway they were on this world where they had these fruits, and before you ate it you thought of a food, and then when you bit into it, it tasted like that food. That would be really cool.
98% of teens have tried smoking pot and drinking. If you're one of the 2% who hasn't, copy this and put it in your signature.
Oh jeez that's kind of awesome! It sounds like a pretty cool thing to be able to just down a cup of Tabasco sauce with vinegar and say, "It's not good, but tolerable." I want to try one now just to see what will happen. There was something in the article about some long term affects, but I'm not sure if I caught them. What's so bad about the little fruit?
Sounds.... intriguing.
The protein name is so cliched, however... miriclum was it?
Though that could have its uses... personally i hate sour food so a bit of that could see bad foods becoming good... Although secretly, the fruit is probably some extra-terrestrial being that wants to impregnate us with some strange substance and take over the world!!!
Or is that just my imagination.....

OOH!! CAKE!!
We have tabasco on toast for breakfast anyway. It's a pretty neat fruit though.
Although I find the article interesting I don't think I'd personally try the fruit if I ever got the chance. The main reason is I'm not keen on fruit or vegetables (although signs of these changing have been noticed every so often. Must parents always be right about their children?), so that initially would put me off. Secondly, if I try food I like it how it should taste. I wouldn't want to eat something under its effect, then eat it again without it and not like it. Also the meantion of all wine tasting the same. I have wine during family meals and I'm particular with what I drink. So it is possible that the berry could ruin a meal for me.
