High School Stereotype?

Well this thread is basically asking what high school stereotype you were you when you went to school, or are, if you still go.

Personally, i was a mix between the class clown, the outcast and the smart guy.

So tell me, what were/are you?

I was the class clown above all else. I would do anything for the sake of the joke, such as my week long experiement to see which teachers responed in what way to being called a douchebag in the middle of class.

Aside from periodic necroposter, I have been the shy kid (with four foot fro until I cut the bastard for a job) and a pretty stable person. People socialize with me when they feel like they need something from me (notes, a dollar, etc.) or to make me feel harassed.
I'm friends mostly with the geeks and nerds (all four of us) so I guess I'm proud to be one too. Although my other two close friends are scene....and I do like skinny jeans.... Damn I dono my social status lol

I was a nerd. The drug dealers would sell me drugs for doing a few of their assignments (which id just copy from mine). I guess my Anthrax shirts and spikey black hair didnt help me. The chains from my black pants also didn't help. As well as my coke bottle glasses.

I loved rebelling with the rest of my friends. We were the best rebelling group of all time. We rebelled the same way as everyone else like us. Yay for rebelling!!!

I think I was a freak. Or a drama/choir geek. Something like that. All I know is that I was in my own little world with my friends, and didn't really care what anyone else thought. I'm pretty sure people probably thought I was kinda crazy; I was known for yelling things like "RICE!" and "YEAH!" A friend recounts this one time some random girl walked up to us while we were talking and asked me "Uh... rice?" And I was like "YEAH! RICE!" And then she walked away, my friend asked me if I knew who she was, and I shrugged.

But I was still rather shy. Even though I was more outgoing than I had been in Middle School. It was more of the kind of outgoing an awkward person can be around people they know well and feel comfortable with. Still kinda is. Anyhoo...

I've kinda always just done my own thing. I was athletic, but didn't really fall into the whole jock mentality, so I didn't bother with hs sports. That, and one of the baseball coaches hated me, so I got out of that pretty quickly.

I was in the fine arts stuff freshman/sophmore year, but got out of it because my choir teacher was terrible at her job and I wanted to get out of the cliqueyness that was all involved.

Junior year I just ended up working a LOT, and I got involved in my church's youth group too. I became more of a slacker/joker after a really good soph year, and people really started to think I was the shit.

Senior year I continued to pull in all sorts of hours working, it got to the point where my friends talked to my mom about it and told her that "he never has time to hang out with us anymore," and to my surprise my mom and dad ended up giving me free reign to do whatever, which was sick I ended up becoming one of the most well known people at my school despite not having a "crew" or "group" of sorts. (well I kinda did, but they were friends from all different walks of life and groups, lol.)

I am pretty much in real life what I am here. I'm a huge video game fan, I can quote most normal memes, internet fads, and even obscure references to a game. When I wasn't gaming, I was either reading, playing chess, ping pong, or on the Quiz Bowl team. So outright I looked like a huge nerd.
So I pretty much kept to myself. I didn't bother people, they didn't bother me. The others knew they could come to me for help, and I knew who to go to if I had troubles. Things went smooth, and I actually had a large social network for being so introverted.

More or less, I was the guy who was quiet, yet depended on. People could come to me for anything, and I was always willing to help.

I played baseball all my life and through high school and into college but that definitely didn't define me. I wasn't too outgoing, I was usually the guy who kept to himself and talked to my friends, not really leaping to talk to strangers lol. The friends I was close with I did talk to a lot and joke around but when I was in a group I was usually quiet.

I also didn't really have to try to hard in high school, which may have hurt me when I made it to college, I mean I'm Cuban and managed to sneak through Spanish I & II which I primarily slept through anyways. I guess I would classify myself as....quiet and collected, mainly keeping to myself but friendly if approached, idk lol

I was part of the music crew. My grade was mostly a bunch of kids who wanted to play some sort of rock instrument. And the grade above us was the biggest group of hippies, buddy buddy, join band, and go see musicals together type....I ****ing hated them. Sadly the music theory teacher hated us

The music kids more than most got into the druggy group. And over only a couple years you could see the ones who kept with the music and ones who just wanted the booze and weed. And didn't know a D chord.

Anyway, I'm pretty smart but I dispice those preppy people and I don't take many honners anymore so I'm stuck in classes that are not challenging enough, but that's my fault.

I guess that makes me a nerd who doesn't try as hard as he should in school.

I was the class clown but not in the abusing others way. I just randomly shouted things that turned out to be funny i still do it in college although now teachers recognise im not being an ass so they can have a laugh too.

I did a few of the sports my school had to offer but i was by no means a "Jock" although i played football at dinner and was pretty good in PE but then again Jock is never used over here so.

Originally I kinda just did my own thing - I felt a bit alienated as I went to a decent private school and had a lower social standing then most of my peers (plus all my mates from here were schooled elsewhere).

Then, me being the type to call people on shit, I made a few friends here and there among the bullied and those with a similar background. Outcasts would be a suitable word for it I suppose. We had a decent range of ages, spent most of our free time hanging in an out of bounds area mucking around, chilling and basically looking out for eachother. There was no official leader and we were all free to do our own thing, but I sort of became a leader when one was needed for whatever reason.

Outside of my group I got on decently with most people including those I had bugger all in common with and got a bit of a reputation for two things. One, I wouldn't hesitate to tell a bully off even if it were a teacher (most were pretty chill at my school, but I did piss off at least two pretty severely), and two, I generally hung around with 'less savory types' so to speak outside of school. There was even some bullshit rumour going on during my final year that I was apart of some local Mafia type thing - stupid as my home town has nothing of the sort.

So yeah, pretty much the same way I could be grouped now.

I was the smart guy, the lazy ****, smartass/class clown, and the jackass, all at the same time. Also commonly known as a troublemaker. For some unknown reason people thought I was emo or goth at times... not sure why, I couldn't be too much farther from either. I wear leather alot, that's about my only guess as to what gave people that idea. Few people thought I was a closet stoner too, but I wasn't <.< Though I look kinda look like a stoner, and I hung out with most of the stoners, so I can understand why they may have believed that. People pretty much either loved me, or hated me with every fiber of their being. Not much in between.

Among the group of people I hung around with, I was known as the weird, not-so-typical Asian kid. I make really "ugly" facial expressions (rage face?) at random times, I can scream like a girl, etc. Unlike my other Asian friends, I'm horrible at math and if anyone asks me a question about a certain subject, I wouldn't know the answer. I do average on the ACT/SATs and I'm lazy about my schoolwork, yet somehow, I manage to make good grades.

I am a once goth who's closet began to change, for many black articles of clothing have gone bye bye somehow. I am the classic puppy of a bunch of gamers that is trying to show that she knows her stuff hopelessly to a bunch of sexiest men. I am also your classic seems like one who would want to wear the pants in a relationship but is in fact a shy school girl who loves to bring you a homemade lunch. You know your classic tough but not really just scared anime type of girl?

I don't think I would know how to label anyone from my highschool generation let alone my self. In which category should I place my friend who had top grades, but was by far the biggest delinquent my highschool has ever seen. Or the shyest guy in my class, well known to police as football hooligan.

As for me, by some I was considered to be a geek, even though my grades were far from perfect, probably due to my appearance. I was eager to help, if help was needed, thus respected by many. I was also a guy who could get you anything as far as media, or sweets goes. My best friends were bullies who frequently beat other bullies, not really a common site in other schools I bet, but then again my school was far from usual.

There so many of us that we couldn't really have had a highschool stereotype I think. Everyone was a little different though.

Like Scott still played his Star Wars card game then... We all played videogames, pretty much all of us were in choir or drama... But then some of us played sports too.

I know atleast the way I looked at it we were probably one of the more laidback crowds at school compared to everything else goin on.

Tough call broseph. As far now-a-days... i've fully embraced the nerd in me.

I didn't socialize much, but for some reason everyone knew me.
I dressed in black everyday, and still do. but stayed far away from hottopic, and avoided graphic Ts. Got good grades.

We really didnt have "nerds" and "goth"s were grouped in with our stoners.(mainly trailer park kids) [I live in a suburb]. Not sure what the title would be.

I was described as the more "darker" stereotypes. I don't know why. I thought I was pretty approachable and friendly.

I went though a lot of phases, but stayed as a rock chick for a while. A quiet rock chick. I preferred to keep my head down and study/read, but get up to mischief every now and then (beauty of that was, no one knew who'd done it... although I tended to get in the most trouble when I got caught because the staff never expected something bad of me).

Before I met my best friends, my other friends just thought I was weird. I got laughed at loads just for being who I was, and I guess that's why I can't take a joke much nowdays. My best friends didn't laugh at me but with me, and joined in when I let my hair down. I guess I was a little bit of a joker? Not a class clown because I was quiet, but I opened up with friends. I was also really dirty minded, but I'd just laugh when I saw something as such, and eventually other people would get it. xD;

So yep. Quiet rock chick who no one really understood.

At first I suppose people thought of me as the smart shy guy/teacher's pet, I wasn't really smart, I just couldn't get bad grades or my parents would had killed me. I wasn't shy, just didn't have anything in common with the kids that did drugs, had sex all day with random people just because they *thought* it was cool, blah blah blah.

Then people really thought I was a nerd when I would sit at the *nerd* table during Lunch to play the Yugioh card game. So obviously some jackass thought he was tough and decided to try and punk me, much to his surprise I didn't take his crap and he got a royal beating. After that, people nicknamed me *Ferocious* because my personality was just Fierce, I was always on edge, never letting my guard down for no one. After a while the actual *nerds* considered me their bodyguard (wtf lol) because of the one incident, since then no one ever messed with them during Lunch if I was there.

I was even considered to be part of the Crips gang because I always wore blue, and with the nickname Ferocious it was a given so even more people left me alone (I wasn't in a gang at all). Almost got expelled too because I threaten to kill some kid, so the security guard kicked me out of school and my parents had to come and talk to the principal lol. good times...

Honestly someone help me on this stereotype lol
