You guys heard about what happens to the Batman movie now, right?
Spoiler: JOKER DIES LOLOLOL
I'm not accusing Mary Kate, but I wouldn't be surprised if she was some how involved with the pills. It certainly would be a messed up thing to do to your own friend, though. I don't think she did it.

Be annoyed at me or whatever, but I didn't like him as an actor.
I thought he was kind of bland.
However, it was weird to hear he'd died. I mean, seriously, you just don't expect this kind of thing to happen. It's so freak and sudden. I feel bad about it, sure, but he was never really a noticeable icon to me. Most of my fellow Brits hadn't even heard of him before now. And then you mention "A Knights Tale" and they're all "Ooooooh, him."

I gotta say I have never seen alot of his flims but I knew who he was and of course I am a huge Batman fan so I knew he was playing "The Joker" in the new Batman fan for along time and I have seen the trailer (about billion times) and I gotta say he is barely reconisable (sp?) he looks amazing and it kinda saddens me that he wont be around to get his praise so yeah its a great lose

It's a shame I was dazzled by his performance in The Dark Knight, I was really looking forward to it. A whole lot more people are going to go to the movies to see the final Heath Ledger silver screen performance. They better damn well dedicate it to him.

As much as I dislike Batman, I might go and see it just for him because he was a very talented and convincing actor. They had a couple of his movies on channel ten here last night in honor of him and to remember how great he was. Even though I didn't see many of his movies, I knew he was very skillful.
I'm still quite saddened about it! It's even worse because he was only 28.. well close to 29 I believe. That's way too young to die!
Call me a jerk, but I really don't care.
He is just another dead celebrity to me. I mean, its a sad deal and all, but my day to day life isn't gonna change. I didnt know the guy.
I don't really understand people's obsessions with celebrities and their lives. At the end of the day, does it really matter?
Sorry for sounding course, but thats how I feel.

Its a human life taken too soon thats what its mostly about. I dont get upset when older celebrity's die even if i did know who they were. Its a great loss,he was just really starting to become a well known actor, and its just sad. It was so unexpected too thats why its getting so much attention too. Hell,I care about him he was one of my fav actors even if i would never meet him.
Anyway, yea I didnt even know he was playing in the next batman movie probably because I dont like batman lol but i watched the trailers and I may go see it just for him, also I think it would be nice if he got a star(if he hasnt already i dont think he has) and that they dedicate that movie to him.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty sad, and very unexpected. He was a good actor, and not one to crave attention like most of the idiotic celebrities we get these days.
I doubt he would have been selfish enough to commit suicide, especially with a two year old daughter.
Anyway...yeah, it was a sad death, and I don't think it was his time to go. He was way too young.

i was watching the soup last night (on E!) and joel made comment at the end giving heath props because he never showed up on his show, he refered to heath as one of the few good ones...
for those that dont know what the soup is, it is a show dedicated to making fun of other shows, movies, actors/actresses, and celebs.

Crao Porr Cock8! Need I say more!?My awards:
The autopsy results are in. They are saying it was an accidental overdose, and it was a combination of the medication he was taking that killed him.
Here's a quote from the article.
"In a statement released through Ledger's publicist, Ledger's father, Kim, said Wednesday: "While no medications were taken in excess, we learned today the combination of doctor-prescribed drugs proved lethal for our boy. Heath's accidental death serves as a caution to the hidden dangers of combining prescription medication, even at low dosage."

Theres the article. I also read the other day that his parents were on their way to Australia for a private funeral and burial.

Yeah, I heard about this on the news early this morning and felt sad since it was accidental and all. It was a waste really and it shouldn't have happened. I hope they find out why he had so many prescription pills, maybe he had a bad doctor.
Anyway, it's a shame they are having a private funeral. They should have had both a private and public memorial since he is Aussie and has a lot of fans here as well. Oh well I guess. It's sad.
This is pretty tragic. Such a young actor with so much potential. What saddens me more is the fact that he was on all those meds. This is something that could've been avoided. As Angel Wings had mentioned, I hope they do find the reasoning of why he was on all that.
However, I can see why Heath's family would want a private funeral. If I recall, I saw on the news a couple days ago when a few photographers were asking Heath's parents "How do they feel about Heath's death and stuff." And I'm like "Are you ****ing kidding me? What kinda question is that!? Of course they're upset and distraught about it." They're entitled to earning their own privacy and to grieve in silence.

what were the other two productions he was making?
anyways i heard he was a very great actor and good luck to his daughter.
Well The Dark Knight is in production and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is still in filming and will not be out til 2009 but I guess they arent starting over and replacing him. They are keeping the original scenes with him in it but Jude Law,Johnny Depp and Colin Ferrell is going to replace him. Like each 3 of them will play one of his Imaginarium's. I read this in an article and oh heres a quote from imdb.
"Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell have agreed to complete Heath Ledger's role. The film's fantasy premise, and some clever rewrites, will let the actors play a man whose appearance changes as he travels between imaginary worlds."
