I'm pretty sure this girl who went to college with a bunch of friends of mine doesn't care for me. Also pretty sure she has a crush on my boyfriend (they went to high school together). She lives in another town, so I rarely see her, but when she comes through town, she always invites my boyfriend and all my friends to go do something but doesn't really make an effort to get to know me or invite me. Also she's kind of a bitch/attention whore in general.

I've ended up with a great group of friends, though. I'm confident they all like me and I like all of them. It takes time, and you have to sift through some major assclowns, but you'll find a group you feel comfortable with. Be honest, don't try too hard, be comfortable, be nice.

I've noticed that recently a lot of my friends have stopped talking to me. Granted, it is partially my fault since i don't work at the moment and can't afford to go out with them. But it's like they've just given up on me or something. I've tried organising alternative things to do that don't cost as much or even nothing at all (such as going to the movies, maybe to the park or just walking around town and spending time together).

It also doesn't help that most of my friends are my age (the late teens/early 20's) so most of them are either studying, working or busy chasing guys/girls.

I have that feeling everyday but i dont notice it. I'm sure some people can't stand me, and likewise, i blatantly hate a lot of people too. just how it works.... though I have noticed sometimes when it looks like someone doesnt want to talk to you, they reaaly are just shy or don't know what to say, and get picked up the wrong way

I use to have a music project with a producer and we became friends after working together for a while and started a project of our own. We got good recognition because he is a talented producer but a lot of the attention was focused more on me and my style and perhaps... 'scene' look? lets keep in mind this is about 4 years ago now. Anyway, he didnt get the recognition he deserved and that pissed him off and he decided to stop working on the project with me despite its success. Anyway, we kept in contact and spoke to each other less than sometimes and eventually and just stopped for a while. Recently I asked him a question on facebook, something along the lines of "which would be the best pre-amp to get nowadays? I'm to be recording some blues tracks and dont need anything to fancy, but im not sure what to go for" and was replied with a bunch of comments from his mates of whom i've never met telling me that "blues is gay" and just your standard trolling. To my surprise, He actually joined in with them and basically told me to **** off. Not knowing exactly what prompted this particular rage, I guess that he just feels threatened by anything I try musically and now that im attempting to do my own thing on my own terms, now he feels useless. I always knew he had something against me, but it was for such a bs reason. There was no need to be rude when I was just asking a friendly question. And to get his mates involved just goes to show that he needs that kind of support to make himself feel big because on his own, he knows hes nothing compared to me.

I don't normally have problems like this. Most people like me, or can tolerate me enough to invite me places... at least that's what I assume. For the people who don't really make an effort to talk to me, I know it's pretty much mutual, and not done maliciously. Life is stupid hectic as it is, and I hardly have the time to see most of my good friends. Seeing secondary friends is nice, but I'm pretty sure it's mutual that it's difficult to hang out.

Happens all the time, like in malls, etc. Sometimes people just ignore you, but it's not really their fault. They can have issues and problems of their own or can be preoccupied with something.

There was this one rude girl which really stuck in my mind. Just because she thought my friend and I weren't entertaining enough, she had to stop eating with us during lunch one sudden day. She never appeared since.

There's a girl at work who's really fake with me. I don't have the patience for that.

But yeah, I get that feeling a lot, and I get it from all angles. Quite frankly, I don't really care; I have enough friends around me that these types of people don't mean enough to me to care about. I try not to let people live rent free in my head.
