Guys against Girl gamers

Where did you get that statistic? I'm pretty sure you just made it up. To be honest, I didn't meet a single girl in college who gamed. I was the only one in my class, and like, one of three in the whole art department (there were a couple in the graphic art course, naturally). I think the reason you think there are so many girl gamers is because there are a lot of them on the web.

That's what the thread was started off -- the fact that there are a lot less girls who game. I'm not saying 45% of the population is entirely unrealistic, but I'd be EXTREMELY surprised if it were true.
