Graduations...

well the school here in america is almost over...

just tell me whether you are graduating for high school or college and your graduation experience....

well i'm gonna graduate for college this coming sunday on the 18th of this month. the course i got is christian education... i'm going to be a teacher might be for english like phonics and sounds or something to do with language. I'm not sure coz i'm getting married but i might use this in the future coz my heart's desire is to teach and help these kids from the country where i came from so hopefully i will do that.

I'll be graduating from high school next thursday, so I don't really have an experience yet, but I am leaving to go on a week long cruise the day after, so I think that counts as one hell of a graduation present!

I'll be graduating from community college with an Associate's in general education ( a transfer degree, so I can go transfer to a 4year school) next May though.

I think right now you are making a good choice by deciding to go to a community college, and I respect that. I tried going to a private christian college my freshman year, but things just didn't work out, money got too tight, and I think many incoming freshman underestimate how much work you do your freshman year. I think it is a wonderful start to go to a community college and get you gen ed stuff done first, because you are going to have to do that no matter what, so you might as well take it in a considerably cheaper and 'easier' manner. And why not make your general education classes easy, its still very important to have a high GPA in college and if you start off with a C+ average just from gen ed stuff that you took in a 'harder' college, its only going to be much much harder raising your grade when you have to put in the effort to get the best grades on the stuff that really does matter.

I graduated High School end of last year.
Just this week however I graduated from a couple of courses.
I now have a Certificate 1 in Security Operations and a First Aid certificate.
Yay for having an education.

I graduated from high school in 2005 and I was so happy when I did. I could not stand school and was grateful to know that I didn't have to go back to that hole ever again. Graduating was fun but we were only at school for the morning then had to go after that. I remember saying good bye to all of my friends and teachers.. well most of them. Our graduation ceremony went for about an hour or even less and we got our certificates and that was all she wrote!

There's not much to say other than that. I'm glad to have gone all the way in high school, even though I hated it. It's just good to say I completed it and got my certificate. My Mum, Dad and brother never graduated so yay me!

Wow another member from the high school class of 2005. I know how Crazy Chocobo felt, I was so sick of school when I graduated from high school in May 2005, since then I've been busy with the whole army thing, I've been deployed once and I'm getting ready for another deployment.

oh and yeah, the first year of college I had last year, which is when I thought I was going to go into a biology-related field, but after a semester I decided against the whole thing, so then I took gen ed stuff. After paying like $28,000 this past year for gen ed stuff, I decided that I needed a cheaper education, so now I am going to a community college to cut costs, and I am back living at home as well, which for the most part isn't a bad thing, just different at times, but I do my own thing most of the time anyways. After this year finishing up gen ed stuff, I will be going to a college/university and working on my business degree. I already have 35 credits from the end of my freshman college year, and this summer I will be obtaining 7 more, so I still am on track for graduating within 4 years.

I graduate University this Summer... even though I'm doing an additional year of it afterwards and then graduating again, haha.

I'm looking forward to it... even though it's fricken' expensive as I have to rent my house an extra week or two and rent my graduation gown. Dagnabbit.

I'm surprised I missed this thread. This is my last year of high school. It's a bittersweet thing really to be honest. There's this part of me that doesn't want to graduate but there's this part of me that's just stoked about it. I'm going to miss a lot of people though. But a few friends of mine and I are looking into getting a place together in the meantime. I'm doing the Community College and then transfering to a University as well.

I'm hiring hat and gown... it's like £30. To buy.... yeah, total rip off. Like £200 or something.

Basically, I'm studying a BSc in Computer Science, so I graduate for that. Then I'm doing an additional year in Artificial Intelligence, which promotes me to MSc. Since the AI is technically a different course, I graduate again for it

I graduated high school in 2006. I'm set to graduate with a BFA (in Performing Arts) in 2010. The graduation ceremony for high school took forever, and it was a very surreal experience. I had to think about not ever going back to high school for another class. Whoa. Haha and I knew that, with a class of over 400, it would take forever, so I came up with a solution.

I put my mp3 player in my bra and ran the headphones up through my robe. I kept one ear open when they got closer to the R names. I thought I was soooo cute. It worked, though, I was kept entertained.

After we graduated, we all just sort of... got up, circled the auditorium and left. Apparently, we were supposed to walk out in an orderly fashion, but we hadn't actually practiced that, so we all just did victory laps.

And yes. We threw our caps in the air after we sang our alma mater. My dad took a video of it, and it still makes me smile. We were a fun class.

I have my NRA on June 30th - the last day I'm ever at school until results day... I'm looking forward to it...

I'm going to college for two years then maybe even go on to Uni. I wasn't too happy about leaving secondary school a few months ago, but I think I've grown up a bit since then. So yeah, I guess its pretty much over now, seeing as I don't go to lessons anymore because of exams and revision... Bye school, hello college!
