The thing that strikes me most about Melbourne ppl is how they bleat on endlessly about how superior they are and how wonderful Melbourne is compared to Sydney. On and on and on. It's tedious.

Methinks someone has an inferiority complex.

Sydney is unabashedly itself and a marvelous city full of villages. No apologies there!

Rowan u've never been to Sydney so hush

Do i need to go to iraq or syria to know its a disgusting awful place to live? No I dont. We dont share the same logic and I prefer mine. Fact is my judgements are based on other persons experiences because I have none of mine. Even if I did, because I had fun walking down the corpse ridden streets of sri-lanka doesn't mean i'd reccomend it to my family and friends. And so far sydney is the only place I know in Australia where my friends have been held up at gunpoint, had a terrorist siege, cronulla race riots to say the least. I dont care if you think Melbourne is boring. The fact of the matter is that its safer and cheaper to live and I was only offering a sugguestion. Sorry if you took offence.

No offence taken! Its true some of my friends frequent Melbourne n they never say a bad thing bout either! Its always positive things it really is that Sydney ppl dont care for the supposed competition or r much less aware of it. Thats fine bt imo with that logic you'll be too scared to go anywhere!

I do have a habit to focus on the negative side of most things.

I think most people do though.

lol at the above, did you mean to do that?

You two chillax both your places are crap and amazing, most places are like that.. Except vancouver i didnt see anything wrong with that place when i was living there

And Sydneys streets are all over the place because its an older more established city, its the same with Dublin and im sure any other capital city you look at (i know Syd is not the capital)

I see a lot of tourists around my area n sometimes wonder "dude whyy??" I feel Australia is boring bt I'll leave that up to u if any of u decide to visit. Also all this talk of travelling I completely forgot I'll be travelling to Morroco with my best friend early october n returning to just before my bday.

I had to google Kangaroo Jack. I've never seen it. I wonder if Finding Nemo made anybody want to visit Sydney...

Kangaroos, Koalas, sunny weather, beaches. That's generally why people want to visit, England is generally wet and cloudy. I'm actually going on holiday to Aussie in September which I'm excited about. I get to see family and friends and then after we're going to Japan. It's a very big trip with a whole month off work. I've been warned though, when I come back England will look depressing and less colourful.

I was born in Australia. I've never seen a kangaroo irl lol. A koala yes they're one of the cutest animals EVER. Koalas, sunny weather n the beaches ..yeah I guess so. I suppose Im biased cause I live here n Im used to it. I am def a beach girl so I can vouch for our beaches. Australia then Japan?! Sounds like the perfect holiday. Mainly the Japan part

Finding Nemo is my fave Disney Pixar 3d animation. I really hope Finding Dory is just as good if not better/funnier.

I see kangaroos almost everyday. Across from my house there is a large area of bushland and the kangaroos always manage to find away over 3ft tall fence. You should never approach a kangaroo, you never know what they might do. They have extremely sharp claws and can tear your guts out with a single kick. I am not joking.

I'm going to see Backstreet Boys in concert in June!! omgomg

Also playing: Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, Mike Posner, and a couple other people. They're major nosebleed, but the tix were only $25 a pop. Defo worth it imo.

I'm so ridiculously excited. . I completely wore out my copy of BSB's 2nd album, I was so obsessed with it. *dies*

Went for a run yesterday arvo n came across a stray (husky) dog. Luckily she had a tag on with her name (Alaska) n a mobile number. I lifted her up n carried her back to my apartment which was only 7 mins away. I called the owner who told me he was at a park which isnt far from my place (n was where I was headed for my run!) n that he'd come pick her up asap. I txtd him my address n fed Alaska n gave her fresh drinking water while she played with Bear. The owner came not long after n we were chatting for a bit (he also askd me out lol). Got a call bout 6 hrs later from a friend asking me if I could accompany him on a 3 hr drive to pick up a rescue dog nxt wk. Stacking srs Karma points yesterday.

All animals, no matter their size or peaceful appearance are capable of aggression. They're still cute to me.

Yeah thats exactly my point. Even though animals seem cute, people still need to respect them and be cautious because they can be deadly. Especially in OZ, the land of the drop-bear.
