Great idea. I sugguested something similar a while back and it got shot down. I would trust people within TFF community so I would feel comfortable buying and trading games on here. Lets do it.
I was thinking, we're a decent sized gaming community, has a swap/sale forum ever been considered? I realize there could be issues associated with it, but like any purchases online it's buyer beware. PayPal is incredibly easy to setup and use and I think it could be useful to acquire one time play games that are just sitting around for people who don't trade in. Pass on the game to someone else while putting the profits in your pocket and not eb games etc, or give members of this community a smokin deal.

I'm on quite a few automotive forums, all of which have classified sub-forums. As I said it's buyer beware, all transactions are private leaving the forum no responsibility and should anyone get scammed it is EXTREMELY easy as a buyer to recoup your money through either paypal or a credit card company. I see no reason as to why it would be a problem.
I think an even better idea right now would be to have people posting their stuff in this thread that they would like to trade/sell so we could get an idea of the amount of people who would readily be wanting to advertise their stuff.
I'm sure there are some legal issues here, particularly regarding international trades (assuming done took place). Although I suppose it would be no different to organizing this autonomously in MSN. Perhaps a private subforum with an admin-approved membership: only trusted forum members can participate?
I spoke to my administrator friend of a local car forum with an active member number around 1500, he says in no way can he be held liable for transactions which may come about through user posted advertisements on his forum short of trading of controlled/illegal goods.
Another forum I go to has this too. Although most I see from over there, people want to get rid of the games everyone already own, etc. I trust quite a number of TFFers, don't get me wrong, but I see us as a community that do more or less play the same games, or at least know about them enough to have an opinion. Plus, we're a small community too and there are much larger forums about who offer these types of forum.
Not saying it's a bad idea (I'm for it), just don't think it'd be a very active one.
