A fruit you've always wanted to try but never have
Today I bought a mango, for the first time in my life. I've had mango in drinks all the time, but I've never actually bought one to eat as a piece of fruit. I had no idea how to approach it and left it sitting on the bench for a while. Then I got a knife out and attacked it. Didn't realise that the centre was hard and inedible. I really, really enjoyed it though, even if it's winter and therefore absurdly out of season.
I have never eaten a guava, but I really want to. Same with a passionfruit. I've had passionfruit sauce on like ice cream and stuff, but I've never actually bought one.
Name me a fruit you've never eaten but you want to.

Actually just cut my first mango last week! Pretty much the same experience as yours, it seems. Weird center thingy.
I'm not even sure what fruit I haven't bought. Mango was on my list, and that's done. I haven't bought passionfruit. Maybe we can be fruitbuddies, Alpha?
I had a guava tree at my old house. All the birds would eat the fruit and get drunk then just sit in the driveway, too pissed to fly away. Guavas are alright, a little sour and gloopy and the seeds are like little stones but they're tasty all the same.
I've never had a yam but I don't think that's even a fruit. I've always wanted to try a starfruit, they look so bizarre.

A durian. I have seen it on several different cooking shows. It smells really bad, but is supposed to taste absolutely delicious.

Hmm...I've honestly never even thought about it lol maybe a coconut, never had one like, straight off a tree, just in candy and shit. Maybe one of those superfruits that make everything taste sweet for like an hour. ...that actually seems like it would be nice for those...naughty moments in life.
What'd make this post even better is if I knew you could perform fellatio on yourself.
Passion fruit. I've had a bit in greek yogurt along with mango, and it was really good. I want to try a full fruit though.

Best way to eat a mango is slice off the front and back portions length ways as close to the seed as possible, leaving the skin on, then do the same with the sides. Then all you do is slice it in rows(not piercing the skin) and then columns(cutting all the way through this time) to make a checkered-pattern. Then fold the skins inside out and eat away with minimal cleanup.Definitely my favorite tropical fruit.
I'm with Josh R. in wanting to try a durian. Smells putrid but can be great tasting. I've also heard some people say it tastes as bad as it smell so it sounds like a toss up.

I want to taste a fresh, juicy apricot. I've only ever had it dried really, and maybe one or two unremarkable ones from a supermarket chain. I'm not usually all about "organic" or whatever, but fruit should taste better than whatever I've had so far.
Also cranberries. Have only had them dried.

Cranberries are one of those foods that it seems you have to be 65 to enjoy. I'm not quite sure if it counts...depending on the definition of fruit, but a certain psychedelic cactus is right at the top of the list...

Durians are delicious. And...they don't smell bad at all. Maybe I'm just used to the smell. They don't really taste like cheese, though. More like custard.
