First TFF Friend

This is a thread I haven't seen in a while. A thread dedicated to the first friends/contacts you had at TFF.

If memory serves me correctly, Meier Link of all people was my first friend on TFF. I remember finding the Word Games section, and spending an entire night spamming it up. Good times. The next day or two rolled by, and he directed me towards the Rp section, which ultimately drew me in to TFF forever, and to the general chat, where I'm at now. XD

My first friend here was a kid by the name of Kyle. I downloaded some DOA2 music off of him from Napster back in the day (oldskool, y0) and he sent me a link here. I joined, goofed off, eventually him and a dude named Fun-Man defected to FFImpulse (now Empyron... or something... I dunno I'm smashed). Haven't talked to either of them in years.

My first TFF friend and still best friend ever is Andromeda. Used to be called Andromeda II back then. xD

My first TFF friend went by Samurai Kenji. He goes by Akira now. This was around the time when the Light and Dark factions existed. Oddly enough, there was a sense of respect between both factions even though we make each other out to be enemies. We used to do a lot of RPing and RPBing. He's one cool dude!

While I'd say Cain Highwind was probably pretty damn close to being the first I could call "friend," I think he was beaten out just a smidge by good ol' Dawezy. Not long after were psychosyd and Pete, then Yuna, ZRO, Scorpian, Psiko, and Ryayukou.

Many others came after, of course, but I can't be assed to try and remember them all in order.

Well there were already 4 members on TFF I already knew when I first signed up here back in 2005.

Jin, Tiffany, Dawezy and ZRO there was maybe 2 more I am unaware of.

Rejoining 3 years ago (on the 12th) I'd say my first friend would probably be my twin brother Rocky.

I talked to a couple people when I first joined. Though we didn't talk like everyday or click a ton. The first person who I really thought was a riot was Strong Bad. He's not here anymore not that I know of. But he's a very chill Canadian, who loves online comics and being random. We used to have discussions on how to make the best FF Tactics class and random music. Awesome.

I think my earliest friend was someone who got banned on multiple accounts. I can't remember his first sn, but one of them was "El Spam." I don't know if he really counts though, because he didn't last very long here. The first ones I can really remember are Tifa Lockheart and Llanowar Dead, my TFF Sisters ...neither of which I talk to anymore (although I think I can be forgiven for Llanowar, as she disappeared off the face of the earth after-or maybe even in-02 or 04. One o' them years.) There was also this dude from like South or Central America (I forget which country. And his SN.) Also, SSJ4 Goku was totally the the leader of the DBZ Club! And for a time, it was just him and I posting back and forth, heh. Like a month.

Then, there was the Hall of Doom crew: Kazanthikus, True Omega, Sarah, Spike, Sundance, Korova, and good ol' Soldier #819, who I totally consider a BFF. So there! ...even if we hardly talk anymore. Anyhoo...

Xeim was awesome, she was my TFF sister haha. Too bad she left, though. I think Froggie was my TFF doggie? Don't really see her around much either. You don't actually see a lot of people who joined from around that time anymore, oddly enough, and the ones that are still around are normally lurking like myself. Nevermind, lol.

Hmm... I think my first TFF contact/friend was Meier Link as well. He was also my first MSN contact, and got me acquainted with a few other TFFers. Shortly after that it was Fate and Ralz, and then Zargabaath. After that though, my memory gets a little fuzzy as to who came next.

Pretty sure my first friend at TFF was Simara. We got to talking about something she posted one day shortly after I joined, and then she gave me her AIM name. Hadn't used AIM for a while if I recall right. Then she invited me to a chat room with Korova, Rinny... I'm sure there were others. Wouldn't be surprised if Kyle was there too. Just about everything started there.

... and good ol' Soldier #819, who I totally consider a BFF. So there! ...even if we hardly talk anymore. Anyhoo...

I think mine was either Froggie or Dim. Then I met Sin, SOD and Jules, then Ann came along and all along the way I made a few more friends among the '07 and '08 peeps.
Best online people I met anywhere...

Oh and I was first welcomed by SimplyKit and his epic welcome post he used to give all new members I believe.

First friend I made was loner-kid. We certainly ripped up the word games back in the day, haha. No idea what stopped me from the posting so often in there though. We don't talk as often as we used to, which is mainly my fault - I'm not as much of a VM person as I used to be.

About the same time, I got talking to Xana (Halie, Dystopia, Faith, etc ). Then Jaffas (Raider =D) joined the forums and we got talking. Then there was Aara, but she kept coming and going, coming and going...

...pretty much the crew who chewed up Humour and Word Games early/mid '08.

I think I made more enemies in the first couple of months than friends. ^^;

back in 02 it was like danny_girl, idk what happened to her but we used to chat/pm back and forth a lot. Then I left and came back and got super cool and I can't remember who was my first friend. I got reps from quite a few people upon returning, like Loco/Fluffy/Chez but like my first real amigo that got me to know everyone was probably Dimi (aka Fishie at that time). I just randomly added him on msn and we started talking, he got me into a bunch of cool leet skeet chats with everyone and then I got to be cool with all yall

I would say that my first TFF friend would have to be Dodie, at least first that I could consider to be a friend. Then I'd say that Zargabaath would be next as we shared in despair as the Mets plunged to the bottom of the NL East and then Fate shortly after that.

I can't remember for the life of me the names of people when I first joined back in 2006 though.

Yep, that would be the Kyle I'm referring to. Goddamn I miss those days. Those were good times.

My first friend was Mistress Victoria. Then came Fehrant. I barely spoke to people for the first year of my membership. Then I posted up a thread about MSN, got grilled by a girl named Chez Daja (who called me sad, basically). Then I became friends with her, Psiko, Joe, Martin, Priscilla, Violet, Anachlirium and so many more people that I really should talk to more.

Ann, I swear I will come to Cali. Martin and Cilla I'm WAY overdue for a visit to your place (like 5 mins away). Daisy, I'd just like to talk to you. I haven't made a long-overdue promise to you yet. XD

Me and a buddy Battleofhoth joined up pretty much together and I met a few guys in the RPB forums who were initially total cocks but ended up being pretty decent while I was still active. Mydako was a good guy but he disappeared and Maelstrom was also a pretty sound dude who loved flaming people.

After that I was probably buds with OceanEyes, Ecks,Otto and NeoNecron more than most!
