I was wondering if there was ant firefighters on here. People can place theor opinions of firefighting and firefighters here.



I am a firefighter and it can get pretty dangerous at times. I live in a small town of about 800 people and we live out in the oilfield country. We have on average 3 fires a week. We have mutual aid with the following counties so we are always on the move. I almost forgot to mention that we are volunteers.

I have alot of respect for firefighters, you risk your lives every day to save others, its not something that anyone can jus do.

Blitz King! I didn't know you were a firefighter.

I'm not a firefighter, but I really do respect the people that are. They're really awesome for willingly taking up the responsibility of saving homes and land from being burned up. It's a dangerous job and really tiresome. Not only are there fires to put out, sometimes there are people to save. A person is truly brave and selfless if he or she can go into a burning building, risking their own life, to save someone else's. That's probably not the most dangerous part either, but that's all I know.

I could never be a firefighter, but the people who are are real heroes. Thank you Blitz King for volunteering to do that.
