I really like poker chips.
Even though I feel terrible when I eat chips, I still have them once in a while. Since I'm in class all day, I sometimes can't think of what to get at the student store that's quick when they don't have fresh sandwiches, so it's my first instinct to grab a bag.
I kind of stopped doing that though haha^^; chips do not equal meal, they equal Ramen
ANYWAYS: What are your favorites? Brand and flavor?
I'm a fan of Hot Lays, but recently I picked up a bag and not only was the bag less than half fill, like always, they have reduced the amount of seasoning or flavor on the chips. They tasted like shit.
Way to go economy. First you steal my Teddy Grahms faces and now you make my chips dull.
Go F*ck yourself.
<3 Mel.
I also like Sun Chips from time to time, but those have been tasting strange lately as well.
Lastly, Doritos.
Also, I walked into the damn bookstore and realized they "mexicanized" (I mean Spanish inspired) all the chips. I don't have a problem with Spanish speaking people, but do you really have to take over our chips? jk I love you, because all your food and chips are delicious. I haven't tried the Tapatio ones.
Probably no one knows what I'm even talking about...
Carry on...
I really like poker chips.
Fuckin' damnit. I love how pressing the back button sometimes takes you back several pages instead of deleting typed text. What is the key combo for that, anyway? I do it all the time...
Anyhoo. As I was SAYING, I like salt and vinegar chips. Even though I know other people who don't like them. They're like, "That smells TERRIBLE!" and I'm like "*chomp chomp chomp* PROBLEM?" I also like spicy chips of any variety. Also, there's like some brand called "maui chips" or something that I used to get at the gas station after a shift was over that I really liked. Don't remember the full name though. Anyhoo...
Wuv, Yer Mom
ZOMG I forgot all about salt and vinegar. It's probably because I don't see them at the store as often anymore, but I used to be obsessed with those as a kid... and with pickles :3.. but not together.

I love salt and vinegar chips, but I think my all time favorite are the Deli brand kettle cooked chips from Wise. They're crispy and crunchy and yet always fresh. Jalepeno and Regular are so gooood with a nice sandwich.

Munchies, or salt and vinegar.

No one has mentioned Pringles yet? They come in a tube guys! You don't have to worry about tiny crunched-up pieces like the chips that come in an inferior bag.
I agree with people who say Salt and Vinegar chips, because they are delicious, though I remember getting asked if I was preggers once when I ate them before, because apparently only pregnant ladies love those Salt and Vinegar chips or something. :/ I also dig BBQ, and most flavors of Doritos, but not Cool Ranch because it makes my breath smell nasty, and they have a bad aftertaste anyway...
Click at your own risk.:
I can't fit my hand inside Mr Pringle's tube of deliciousness.
Lol NZ caught up with like the whole world last year... we got Doritos! I think they're horrible though.
If I'm going simple, I'll grab these:
Sea salt and vinegar kettle chips...
Orrr
Ready salted. This is like a Kiwi icon.
If I'm going fancy, I'll grab some lamb and mint, or honey soy chicken.

That happens to me a lot, mainly because I'm on a laptop, and sometimes my thumbs brush the mouse pad when I'm typing. So annoying. Just make sure your cursor is in the text box when you hit backspace. Honestly, it's better if you highlight what you want to delete, and then hit backspace, or go behind what you want to delete and use the delete button instead.Originally Posted by Tele
As for favourite chips. Ah. I like Doritos. Any flavour.
Pringles too. I only like Salt and Vinegar and Cheese and Onion though.
I like most Walkers crisps. I just don't like all the funky flavours they've made for them.
Quavers are yummy too.
I HATE Wotsits.
Oh, I'm a huge fan of hot lays .
DAMN YOU. I was gonna do the same thing. (And of course it's gotta be Ponch ... John was just so-so.)
Anyway. I've never been into much of the "abstract" flavors (lime?), and since I don't like cucumbers or anything else soaked in salt and vinegar for months, I don't care for salt and vinegar potato chips, either. The same goes for dill chips. And while regular salted chips, or ruffled chips, serve their purpose occasionally, I'm not a big fan of them, either.
I do love me some Doritos, though. Cooler Ranch and Nacho Cheesier are the best, in my opinion, but they have some other good flavors, too. Cheetos are great too, but I don't know if you could consider them "chips" -- the crispy kind though, not so much the old puffy kind. And Pringles are good, with a lot of good flavors, but since they're prettymuch the only kind of chip sold where I am, and they are shipped thousands of miles, only about half of each can contains full chips, while the other half is nothing more than pieces and splinters.
I definitely like good ol' fashioned Sour Cream & Onion (or chive).

Wise are like one of the best brands, you damn New Yorkers. I was lucky enough to have them at my first job, they ordered them a lot.
I like chocolate chips.

Salt and Vinegar being my favourite flavour, I really like these:
Although sometimes they can be a little bit too vinegary. I usually eat them during a drinking session.
Also, these:
They must have something artificial in them though, as they gave me such a stomachache (and other unpleasant effects...) after I'd eaten a big bag in one night, but they taste so good!

I would say sea salt and vinegar and any that goes well with a spicy cheese dip. As soon as I saw this thread, I immediately thought of fish and chips. Hmm...fish and chips. I really like the soc eye salmon type on a stick with a side of sea salt natural cut fries.
I miss places that sell really good fish and chips. Cajun and Creole types are very good to me. The Cajun type sauce works really well on almost any type of chip for me, or even if you can get a Chinese variant on fish and chips, it raises the bar like you wouldn't believe.

Probably the best chip I have ever eaten. When I was down south though I couldn't find em' anywhere. I was so distraught.
Other than those I would have to say Blazin' Buffalo Ranch Dorito's yum yumm eat em up...
tss there's so many chip puns in this thread that it's like a chip pun convention or somethin' tsss

but most of all these ones,
onion rings are the shit, i could eat them for fun
During the lunch time I would also buy franch chips (not french), regular flavor, really cheap, tasted rather good though. That was way back when I was in elementary, I'm not sure if they make that chips anymore.

I like moral chips. Chips that make a difference in the world. Chips that go out of their way to make the world a better place to live in.
My favorite kind of chip is the Children's Health Insurance Program. This program assures that the US Department of Health and Human Services must provide health insurance to children in families that don't qualify for medicare.
The only thing a good parent wants to do is take care of his or her child, yet that's hard to do when you can't afford to take the child to the doctor when he or she is hurt or sick. CHIP saves lives, and for that, it trumps all forms of potato/vegetable chips, and all guys named Chip.
Yea. I'm glad you brought that up. It's kind of like when you get a chip at an AA meeting after you kept it down for over 5 years. Different time periods have different colored chips. I'm really starting to dig the latest chips in cell phones and small form laptops. The L4G chip is supposed to be hot. I've also seen AI risk chips, but that was in a movie. One of my favorites would have to be the chips that computer scientists are now using for the latest satelites. Those are cool. I also like the thought of keeping a lucky casino chip.
