I'm at my dad's place and on my way to get a bowl of ice cream I noticed a paper which constantly said the word "custody". I didn't read it incase it was something private and/or about my brother and I.

I talked to my brother about it (he didn't read it because he apperently doesn't give a ****...). We talked about the laws there are about taking full custody of kids. Also about my friend, whose dad was self prescribing medication and needed to be re-abilitated just before the mother tried moving away. The father still tried sueing but lost the case. My brother and I agreed that it was because of the re-abilitation.

The father went to visit the kids and pretty much had them live with him in a hotel for a while (after his re-abilitation). My brother and I argued a little about this. He said that after his re-abilitation he would have to go back to court to regain custody because he had needed to be re-abilitated, I said that since he was a doctor he probably didn't need to and that he would still have some custody rights.
Who is right? and what are some of the other major custody laws?
