Ever just thumbsup people because they don't deserve it?

I sometimes do it irl, but everytime I see a youtube comment that looks just dumb enough for everyone to thumbs it down, I thumbs it up immediately. I'm not sure if I'm making an impact or not, but I think the first few votes on a comment could make someone think twice about voting for what they were going to.

I love those comments that are dumb and 5 people thumbs up it and people just keep doing it thinking they're part of the illuminati mind control experiment cool kids. What I do now, is if a comment is really bad and has a few thumbs up, I just thumbs down everything around it.

Yeah I've been both on the giving and receiving ends of that before, but not like it matters much because the rep system doesn't really have an effect anymore, so it's nbd if someone accidently gives me rep

If anything it makes the messages funnier when you get a spiteful message with a plus rep, thanks for that Merlin

Rocky was apparently telling a story, as I did in fact give him -1. Looks like an admin changed the rep settings so everyone is capped at only being able to rep +/- 1. That's fine and all, except people before that change have shitloads of rep based off the old method, so newer members have no way of catching up. Not exactly fair to them, IMHO. Well there is a way I could fix that... If all the reps have been saved, I can set each person's rep to the correct level based off of each rep only counting +/- 1.

I'd still have the highest rep so it wouldn't matter anyways. Also thats kind of pathetic/abuse of power that you would go through my rep messages just to make sure, but each to his own I guess. Nothing is too low for some people

I got a a +rep from Loaf. But I think this one was intentional. It said new psp are so light, its amazing. I'm assuming it was meant to be +rep.
