I thought of this because I was interviewed for a news story today, basically about how OIF vets are reacting to the change of colors in Iraq. I thought I looked and sounded like a schmuck, but after watching it, I guess I did alright. But it's the first time (that I know of) that I've ever been on TV. I mean, I'm sure I've been caught in a few camera angles of formations or while we were getting on or off a plane or bus, but it's the only time I've actually been interviewed on TV. It only aired on a central Wisconsin nightly news program, but I think it's pretty cool.
So what about you? Ever been interviewed and put on TV? Was it for a school sport achievement, or for academic success, or something else entirely? How'd you feel about it?

When I was in the 2nd grade? I was on the News with my fellow Cub Scouts went on a trip there.
In the 4th and 5th grade I was on the News again for the Football League I played in was at the UNLV doing this big football thing. In the 6th grade my baseball team was interviewed, they mostly talked to our 2 star players but we all got to be seen haha.
and I think that's it.

The local weatherman would come to our school and film our class, and I think I was on his thing a couple times. One of the times I did something weird, and he zoomed in on me and commented. We had it on tape, but I taped it over at some point.
I was also interviewed about a former teacher who had been accused of sexual harassment. I didn't believe he was guilty, but the way they edited it, it came off as "I can't believe he'd do something like that!" So I was a bit annoyed. Anyhoo...
My class was interviewed for a local news show. I was about 7 at the time so I vaguely remember what we were being interviewed for. I think I said something about us getting new brooms. It was a tiny island, anything counted as news.

Canal broke in my hometown. We as a family went to dig someone's basement out. You could see us on the news for a good minute or two working in the background.
Other than that I haven't been on tv. My brother has quite a few times for weber state football.
I have. I once was in the background of a drama series called True, Dare, Kiss for the BBC. It was a while ago now. I think I just had to giggle.
I was also on something about a choral society when I was around 6. My mum was interviewed and I basically just swung off her arm. I was in the under 16s choir alongside the society.

I've been in the background on news filmings, but I don't think I've ever been interviewed. I'm sure I've also been in the background during Mets games, and I know I was on tv for a Yankees game, like 20 years ago.

I was in a marching band, so I was on TV quite a few times. I was never lucky to see myself though, but I know I was recorded. I've also been in the background of news casts because I happened to be walking in that area. OH!! I have been interviewed once. I was at a Tuba Fest in Toronto, and I was unlucky to get an interview. I could barely say two words. Most embarrassing moment of my life. I had fun though.
Nothing major, just few cameo appearances. I've been two times on TV, first time was when certain paper decided to do a report on our highschool, not a positive one though. Unfortunately for me, they decided to go with my class.
Second time was even worse. It happened on my first year on uni, some classes were canceled that day so I went to grab a cup of coffee with my friend. They caught bunch of students on camera, me being one of them, and the title was "students who ditch their classes". My friends father wasn't really thrilled when he saw that.
our state network public broadcasting service used to play various sports or extracurricular activities for high school students, so there were a couple of times I appeared on TV for a quizbowl match back then. I think my parents still have them on tape? idk. None of them were really that memorable except one time I had a teammate who accidently buzzed in and dropped an "OH SHIT" on TV which was kinda funny, especially watching it afterward since they cut that part out lol.

Then again this one is kind of on the outs with me if she doesn't straighten up and fly right so that means I will be back in it for the thrill of the kill. Got some in the reserves. I've never been interviewed on television, but I've been caught in the back once or twice. A David and Victoria Beckham lookalikes were doing some thing down the west end, and the camera shot to me and my aunt for a few seconds. That was when I was about... ten? I was young, I remember.
Prince Charles visited my secondary school when I was in year eight. I got to shake his hand. A friend told me we were on the tv, but I didn't see it. There was a camera man scanning the audience in the playground as he passed us though.
It's not exactly tv, but I'm in a few YouTube videos too from a few launches we've done at work. My friend is the owner/manager of EUTV (Everyone's United TV). I've been interviewed a few times, but he didn't use it. Someone else did though. I should ask him for the link.

I got zoomed in on at a Red Wings game (national hockey team in the states) because me and my dad made a crappy little poster that said "Go Red Wings" or something like that, and cameras love to zoom in on the people who hold up those signs.
When I saw I was on the giant screen (and thus on TV) I panicked and kind of just sat there like a loser. the people in front of me were crazy excited though.
The only cool time was on a local wrestling show. They had a big highlights show on TV from the show, and because we were right near the entrance ramp, we were shot for TV loads. It was really awesome.
The other times were just being able to just make myself out on the news for various events, but that's pretty much it.
I was on the news when I was in high school. They were doing interviews with all the football captains of the teams in the area. It was a local thing, but I was nervous as hell. I have been on several video clips for sports in the news. Umm other than the news I can't really think of anything. Oh you can see me in this years U.K. Vs. Tenn game. We rushed the field, and you can see me on there cheering for a solid 2 mins.
Sitting here waiting for Rocky, and Che to notice me!!
I'm on television all the time, because I'm the goddamn Clint Eastwood. Well, not so much lately. I am 81, after all. Much more when I was a little younger.
I've been interviewed for quite a number of things. Surprisingly mostly about my career achievements in filmography and such. People want to interview me, because they think I'm awesome, and I happen to agree with them.
I am the greatest and smartest person who has ever lived, and I am a damn good magician. Anybody who ever disagrees with me on anything is a moron.
