I think Locke just might hang himself, that or make another "entire USA is wrong, Obama hating" thread Joking aside, I have to second what Lacquer said, Romney seems to be another Bush, and God knows USA doesn't need another one right now.
Well, Mr Obama is still our president, as liberals brag and gloat about the country being saved and conservatives throwing fits and threatening revolution against a baby killing president, one thing is for sure, we will look better in the eyes of the world. I don't care for politics whatsoever, but I can honestly say I would be ashamed to live in a country that voted a man that claims raped women can't be impregnated for president...
Also, I'm sure you've seen the same stuff all over Facebook, but look at the absolute blind, ignorant rage: https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump
How does everyone else feel? Oh, and for **** sakes, don't respond to say my generalization is incorrect, just smile and nod.

Oh my God. Donald Trump is insane.
I mean I already kinda knew this. But seriously 'global warming was invented by the Chinese'. And his ludicrous actions in the Scottish Highlands with that new luxury golf club. I have a feeling that some people may only watch the American version of 'The Apprentice' to see if he does anything else that's bat-shit insane.
But still, even if not everyone likes Obama, he was probably the better choice. At the very least on the international scale he will probably improve America's relationships with other countries - something that most people don't seem to think Romney would be capable of (some going as far as to say Romney would start a war in Iran).
*Smiles and nods*
There wasn't a single person on my news feed supporting Romney. It's frustrating that we (in NZ and elsewhere) have no say over what goes down...yet it's American foreign and domestic policy which we react to everyday...and there are so many Americans who don't vote. Not to say that we deserve any input; just that Obama is overwhelmingly the popular choice in most elsewhere.
I think I mentioned earlier that I disliked both candidates, but I approve the fact that Obama won. Romney was a ****ing moron. He didn't seem to realize that I was making fun of him at the Republican National Convention. The skit I did was purposefully horrible, but nobody seemed to understand the joke.
Anyway, I thought Romney and Ryan were both morons, so it's good that neither of them were elected. And although I think Obama is a moron, I quite like Joe Biden, and I'd rather have a horrible president and a good vice president, than a horrible president and a horrible vice president.
Lemme be the first to say GObama!!!!
I just find myself agreeing with Obama's policies. And I'm Catholic. With the Republicans wanting to redefine rape and whatnot, I prefer the guy that at least preaches equal rights. I may be against abortion and gay marriage (I'm not the biggest liberal in the world, after all), but I won't slam down my beliefs on others and expect to be applauded for it. Republicans have taken wrong and low to a new level. Just imagine how much more America can get done if the President had a Congress that would actually work with him. Kinda scary if you ask me.
Please read the poetry from two great friends of mine. May they find peace.
"The truth is like a lion; you don't have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself."
~St. Augustine
That's it, I quit. I'm moving to America. .. Been spending most this morning looking for FoX News "pouting" to President Obama winning the election.
Education in our country needs to go up. It's an obvious problem. So many people just voting for their "team". It's like Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings. Oh, I've always lived closer to Minnesota. Oh, my family have always been Green Bay supporters. What about liking a team for the important reasons? They have great athletes, they have great policies...etc.
My parents said they were voting for Romney, because Obama seemed "shady". (Okay...) I asked my dad if he felt better off than he did 4 years ago when Obama took office. "It's not better for me, no." Well, do you feel worse-off? "Not really." So you want to change how things are drastically? "Yes. And I think Romney is better than Obama for that." ...sigh
So I asked him why he wasn't voting independent if he really wanted change. Because "they didn't count". FML
So this may seem really ignorant, and it kinda is. But I'm really sick of US politicians and them running for president. Three votes in my immediate family went to Romney. They all got "I voted" stickers. Did they research at all? (I asked them specifically) No. Did they watch the debates? No. Why are they voting for anyone then? If everyone just wants to make America better (let's say this is a main common goal), then why would you vote for anyone if you didn't do your research? Does that not seem counter-productive as hell to progressing?
I did not vote in this election. I would have voted for Jill Stein or Gary Johnson. But why would someone research that the Chiefs are the best team for them, and bet for the Chiefs, when only Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings are in the superbowl? Electoral college.
I want education for my children that I will (hopefully) bring into this world someday. I am not satisfied with the system, the education of the average citizen, or the candidates. There has to be more out there. It seems so half-assed (and that's being generous) for something so important.
My whole life has been around education since my mom was trying to be a teacher since before I was born and even today I hear about it all the time. Education educations, you all would not be here if it wasn't for some education.

You wont be getting any necessary change with politicians today, at least not party affiliates. No matter what their policies are, they only look at what's best for their party. As for independents, I've yet to see one that I agree with anyway, even if they did stick to their policies.
The biggest problem today in America is the media and word of mouth, people just believe whatever they hear in attack ads and convince themselves that they really were better off 4 years ago or whatever. People seem to think the President is some all mighty ruler that makes all the laws and they just ignore Congress. There's not really much you can do when the majority of fellow Americans are sheep and the people that own this country are in control of what gets stuffed down their throats.
