@vivimastermage, I read about the fox attack the other day, it's so horrible, I feel so sorry for the family. You always hear about dog attacks on children but I've never heard of a fox atacking a child. I always thought foxes were cute animals but now I'm quite scared of them especially knowing thwy come through my garden every night.

Foxes are normally docile and shy towards us. I mean, there have been a few foxes on my end, too. They just run away as soon as I opened the doors to the back garden. I say that the mother could claim for that mauling. I mean, I could imagine her grief to see her own babies being clawed at by a fox. At least she would get something out of it.
