Elephant loose in the city...

Imagine an Elephant roaming freely around the city... Perhaps doing a little window shopping, or maybe just taking a short stroll along the streets.

Haha I wish I had seen that... imagine if elephants did roam the streets. Maybe lions too - okay we'd get eaten but whatever .

It reminds me of that terrible film "Baby's Day Out", but you know, with an Elephant.

There was a resent story here of a fox getting into a house and mauling sleeping baby twins because their mother opened some patio doors to get some air in after a hot day. It seems like animals are getting more friendly and adventurous at the moment, doesn't it? Maybe it's the heat or something in the water?... Who knows.

I've been waiting for a good opportunity to link this, and since this is sort of related, this seems like the time.

That elephant is ridiculous. What's it doing window shopping at human stores? Nothing will fit you, elephant. Next thing you know, the elephant will be collapsed in a fitting room, crying because of how fat it is. Silly elephant.

For some reason a large animal escaping from captivity isn't really all that surprising. It also wouldn't (really) surprise me to see an elephant walking down the road. It's not the first time it's happened and it won't be the last.

It might have been looking for a peanut stand lol. Would of been funny to see, aslong as no one was hurt of course.

@vivimastermage, I read about the fox attack the other day, it's so horrible, I feel so sorry for the family. You always hear about dog attacks on children but I've never heard of a fox atacking a child. I always thought foxes were cute animals but now I'm quite scared of them especially knowing thwy come through my garden every night.

Foxes are normally docile and shy towards us. I mean, there have been a few foxes on my end, too. They just run away as soon as I opened the doors to the back garden. I say that the mother could claim for that mauling. I mean, I could imagine her grief to see her own babies being clawed at by a fox. At least she would get something out of it.
