    Earless Bunny in Japan

So, My friend's boyfriend was telling me about some earless bunny mutation in Japan (A possible result of the radiation), and I decided to google it.

I don't know all the details, but it seems like they only found one. Do you think it's a legitimate cause of concern? I mean, there have been rabbits born without ears from what I undersand, and it doesn't seem that crazy if you think about cats, dogs etc. born without tails (yada yada).

Coincidence that it just happened to occur in Japan now, in that area ?

I was thinking that since I'm artificially creating it, I'll create it with rocket fuel instead of blood, and thus it will be able to fly, using the dolphin's dorsal fins as wings. And from the air, it will look down upon us all and protect us against sharks, and search for bananas.

Well, according to that article, most signs point to that rabbit being born that way not being caused by the radiation. Also, there was some study back in the day on the inhabitants of the cities hit by the nuclear bombs, and they found that there were no major health effects. Or something. And like you said, earless bunnies have been born in the past, right? I would still be concerned if I lived near there, however. I'd prefer not to get radiated. Sounds unpleasant. Anyhoo...

    THAT'S HORRIBLE........ly adorable. :3

I think that particular case is just a coincidence. It's a little too soon to say "radiation mutation" over just one rabbit. If it happens to a bunch of them though, then yeah...fly the warning flag, because something is really really wrong there.

Well if it's Japanese, it probably got the mutation gene from it's rabbit ancestors, who, like a bunch of idiots, decided to attack Pearl Harbor in 1941, and therefore, decided to nuke themselves in 1945.

Japan is full of radiation. The place was nuked twice by American made atomic bombs, the Russians tested their own un-American nuclear warheads in the Sea of Japan during the Cold War, and now their faulty un-American nuclear power plants melted down, releasing more un-American radiation into the environment.

I'm surprised that that rabbit isn't half buffalo. In fact, I would be surprised to find half a buffalo in Japan, let alone a full one.

I'd say it's just a natural genetic mutation.

We should outcast that bunny and make fun of him all through highschool because he's different. He's probably a queer, too!

Chances are that it would've been outcast if it was in the wild.
