(I felt that this poll should've been posted, so here it is)
Hey Guys, I'm just wondering if anyone of you like to Drift, or like watching People Drift, or if you don't like it at all. If you do, then please put down your reasons, and your answer as well. It would also be nice if you told us what car you prefer to watch it drift. If you don't, then post your answer, and the reason why you don't like it. Oh, and if you have a really good Video Clip of people Drifting, could you post it here too, as this would be deeply Appreciated. Thank You Very Much.
As for myself, I love the Sport of Drifting...It is Freaking Awesome. So, I would say yes to answer my own Question. And the Car I like to watch Drift the most would have to be the '93-'95 Mazda RX-7. It is just Freaking Amazing.
*Edit: Please Drift Responsibly and on the Tracks, not the Streets.

I personally drift around a little bit, and I enjoy it!
My soul, corrupted by vengeance
Hath endured torment, to find the end of the journey
In my own salvation
And your eternal slumber
My junk:
Daz 3d! Awesome!
I don't think it's all that awesome, if I'm being honest. Yes, it looks pretty, but I don't get the hype behind gliding a car around a corner. I liked Tokyo Drift a little bit, but only liked the more... "romantic" drifting scene, but even at that I thought: "Yeah... yo gonna drive off that cliff and kill your lover... Wise move."
When it comes to games however, I'ma gliding around teh City in my sports car. Because I can, and I don't pay/feel guilt for damages.
My knowledge is pretty weak when it comes to cars and to be honest I'm not really a big fan of races and drifts either. But I have a friend who lives for that kind of stuff, and I've seen a lot of drifts mainly because of him, be it on videos or real life and I don't really understand what's so special about it.
But the saddest thing is that I've seen many cars drifting that are basically not meant to do that and I mean regular family cars. As for the best car drifting, I would say Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution only because it looks very impressive.

Keisuke Tsuchiya (aka the Drift King) is the best, hands down. He's the guy in the green in the video below.
YouTube - Touge Drift Battle on Gunsai Part 2 (Hot Version Vol.78)
Anything to do with the togue you can find on youtube is good material.
Also: don't be a retard and drift around on the street at the expense of others. Keep it on the track.
I love watching show's like "Top Gear" with drifting and knowledge about the car...ect ect...
I mainly think it look quite stylish and makes the car look more appealing than just looks and speed... don't know why but it does!
My things:
I would absolutely LOVE to learn how to drift, and I have wanted to since I've seen "the Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift, " on the dvd they speak to the man who created the sport drifting.
That would be Keiichi Tsuchiya. He is The Real Drift King. And yeah, I can show you a vid of him teaching you how to drift if you want.

Haha, I'm really not all that familiar with drifting, and I'm not into cars all that much either, but I will say that those videos looked pretty awesome! I can see how some people could get excited over this type of thing. It's a sport? That's pretty cool. I will say that its 1000 times more exciting to watch than NASCAR, which really it isn't that hard to be more exciting than NASCAR. Watching paint dry is more exciting to me than that.
If I ever tried anything like that, chances are I would flip the car over or something. That's just how my luck goes.
Click at your own risk.:
I like to watch people drift myself. I had the experience of being in a vehicle while the driver was drifting, and I will say it scared the hell out of me, haha. I myself am not cut out for it, but to sit back and watch it, that's more of a thrill for me.
I would totally drift in my 91 Cutlass Ciera, but I'm not Asian.
Actually, no, I wouldn't. I don't get it. I can appreciate tuning cars and racing them, but the whole drifting culture just seems like a huge joke to me after the Fast and the Furious movies. Now all it is, is kids in Civics (****ing die) and Lancers painted obnoxious colors, with spikey hair. I prefer my cars big and powerful.
I will however, haul ass in my Cutlass. Got it up to 113mph before, and beat an 06 Escalade down a 2 mile stretch of highway.

It's pretty on the big screen, but in real life, I bet it'd be scary. I don't like scary things, and I'm definitely not a car person (unless you count my car dance moves) so I don't know how it's done or any of that anyway. I've never even seen it in real life, but if I did, I'd probably run away in case that car crashed into something and something horrible happened after.
Drifting isn't just "awesome" or "cool" or "sweet dude". It's an art. It's also very dangerous when being attempted by people who don't understand it fully. Drifting is effectively controlling your car when it's out of control. I have a big feeling most of you don't actually know what real drifting is, or have the respect for it. You think fish-tailing in your front wheel drive civic is drifting.
I hope if you're doing it, or witnessing it on the streets that you're safely away from whoever is doing it, and that you are 100% sure there is nobody else around. Have someone be a scout or something. Just keep it on the track, though. It'd be terrible to have an accident just because you wanted to have a little fun in your car. And with that, I leave you this amazing video:
