I don't see the need of a sports section... However, that's because;

1. I personally don't enjoy sports.
2. The only time there are sports threads is when like Cesar said, a big sports event happening.

I'm indifferent to this also, because it wouldn't be me using it. I'm sure others might find some thrill in it.
