I CAN'T WAIT TILL SUMMER SO I CAN HAVE SOME!

I remember waking up around 10am, and turning to the weather forecast to see a severe thunderstorm watch, but the sky was clear as can be. Then randomly, boom, supercell mesocycles... LOVE IT!

In worcester mass, we don't get tornados, but we get awesome noisy storms.
I'll admit, I'm a little hesitant with loud noises, so I shrug when that crackle thunder happens but... I can't wait..

I like thunderstorms, yes. I like the rain, and thunder and lightening just make it that little bit more special. My only experience when I didn't like it was when I was camping in my great aunt's caravan - just didn't feel protected. We were eating dinner at one point during the storm, and thunder went off right above us and made the whole caravan jump - it was like a mini earthquake. @_@

But yeah. They're pretty to watch. Maybe a little romantic if you're with someone and you "protect" them from it lol. Do I want loads of them though? No. It seems we get a lot of floods here during storm season. I have friends and family out in rural communities where you tend to get hit by floods, and I'd rather they didn't have to wallpaper and replace their sofas every year.

I don't like thunderstorms at all. It is just a constant reminder that it is shit outside. Being an outdoorsy type of person this angers me. I don't like thunderstorms, snow, and unnecessary amounts of rain. Pretty much if it ruins my beautiful day f*ck it.

My fiance says that thunderstorms make her horny, so I guess that is a plus during them. Hmm I guess a ruined day is worth it then...

If I have a headache, thunderstorms actually seem to help. I feel comfortable inside, looking out at a thunderstorm. I suppose, if I had to dissect that feeling it's because I get the impression that with a big storm, nothing will be entering or leaving the building I'm in, including me. The idea of being shut in, is kind of nice.

I even like driving in them, it feels semi-adventurous, depending on how intense the storm. I EVEN like walking/being in the rain, though not so much a thunderstorm.

When I was fourteen, I used to swim at local swimming pools when ther is a thunderstorm approaching. It was cool seeing the clouds roll in ahead.
And I'm with you about the driving in the thunderstorms. It does feel adventurous.

They make good white noise for me to sleep to, and they're generally relaxing. I agree with Entity's romantic notion, however my girlfriend is never around for me to do that for her.
I think it's the pressure and energy in the air that gets people feeling brave and adventurous, except you Josh. Your case is good though

Wait, what was this about? Thunderstorms? Yeah, I love heavy weather. Rain, thunder, lightning, tornadoes, when weather is a bitch I like to ride that shit. Definitely makes for an interesting afternoon.

I especially love it when it hails the size of golfballs, or when the wind knocks trees over. Kinda puts mother nature in perspective haha.
