Collecting Stuff

In one of the other threads I mentioned that I collect posters, and so the idea for this thread was born (brilliant, no?). Anyway, I've been collecting them for quite some time now, the amount of posters I have would probably cover my entire room, majority of them are football themed ones, though I also have a lot from various music artists. I would have even more if I wasn't generous enough and gave bunch to my sister and friends.

I also collect my drawings, I'm particularly fond of that collection since it contains some of the work I did when I was just a brat, it's really great to sit down and go through all that, to remember the time when I sucked at it, not that I'm any better now. I also have a huge collection of anime series, though my brother also deserves credit as he generously contributed as well.

So, do any of you collect random stuff, toys, post stamps, drawings, anything at all?

I have every pair of Chuck Taylors I've ever owned...except for my first all black pair since they got utterly ruined...like ripped in half lol.

I used to collect all the state quarters but I needed money so I used them all. I plan on collecting some video game series later in my life when I have saved up a lot of money.

I collect the broken souls of the homeless. I actually only need 200 more before I RULE THE WORLD. Or at least that's what this gypsy elder told me once.

I used to collect all the state quarters but I needed money so I used them all.

I have a collection of those quarters going too. My parents started one for each of their kids, and they're locked up in the safe. If those quarters were in my direct possession, I probably would have cashed them in by now too.

I have a collection of game magazines, but I don't keep up with doing that anymore. I also have a bunch of barbie dolls and polly pockets that I was hugely into collecting when I was younger, but now, not so much.

I collect Eastbay, and CCS magazines. I think I have like 300 of each.

I have a very interesting knife collection. Right now it is at exactly 433 knives. Then my sword colletion is about 176 strong.

I collect video games. Last time I checked I had like 300 or so video games all together. Only bad thing about this is trying to find a place for all of them..

I collect Sega products, though I've toned it down in recent years. I've god a model 1 and 2 Genesis, a Dreamcast, a Saturn, a Game Gear, a Nomad and a CDX.

I collect Nightmare Before Christmas stuff. Its my fave movie of all time.

That's about it. I'm not really a collector. My guy is though. He collects movies, video games, CDs, porn (ha ha ha really not kidding on that one ) and dragons.

Collecting games is one of my hobbies, movies as well, though it's not a big deal to have an enormous amount of games here where I live, with piracy being pretty much legal and all that, also it wouldn't be fair from me to mention something like that as most of you had a harder time obtaining all those games, unlike me. Though my anime collection is legit, I made sure of that.

Honestly you need like the whole collection and another 50+ years or so (I really don't know...whenever they stop getting made) and then they will be worth something.

I collect two things. One of them is baseball cards not because I like want to actively trade them or what not but because I am an avid player of baseball and love watching it. Who knows maybe they will be worth something in the future. The other thing that I collect just so happens to be baseball hats but that is just because I frequently am wearing them so I like having all different types of hats. Looking to get a Rockies hat next.

When I was at secondary school, there was a stand of free postcards. I used to collect them because some looked really cool. I have a thick pile of them in a box somewhere, along with various items including stickers and tiny figures. ^^;

Umm... I guess I collect video games. I really enjoy getting my hands on collectors editions or special editions. Staying with video games, I buy OPM when it comes out. I have a huge collection of them under my TV... remind me that I need to sort them out eventually. >>;

I guess I also collect trophies. I mean, I don't go out and buy games just for them, it's just something extra to do when you've completed the game. So it's not exactly a collection. =S
